Great curls!
Buy this. If you want heatless curls that are stunning and hold all day, buy this product. I have thick long hair and I purchased the medium length one- I will be keeping that but also buying the longer one because I feel like I want a little bit of a loser curl. This one makes the curls tighter due to it being shorter. There are so many different rods to curl your hair around and once you get the hang of it, it’s so quick and easy. You can also remove the middle rods incase you don’t need them. I divided my hair as a zigzag middle part for extra volume and then into three sections on each side, using two rods per section. This gave me volumized beachy (if a little tight) curls that lasted all day. I did struggle the first few times with figuring out the best way to do this but once you know, it’s so easy. It is mediumly comfortable to sleep on but still more comfortable than most heatless curl options I’ve used. The rods themselves are silky smooth and so soft. Overall, great product, that I will be repurchasing and recommending to all my friends.

Great for cheer ringlets!
My daughter’s cheer team has a “half up, half down, curled in ringlets” competition hair style. I have not been happy about heating her fine hair over and over again, and it’s hard to get the hair big enough for “cheer hair” without tons of hairspray. I tried an Octocurl last night and it turned out awesome! I twisted the hair strands while wrapping them TIGHT and twisting the Octocurl strands at an opposite twist so they would have some tension. The curls this morning are so tight, so big, and without heat or hairspray! Also, we could not find her sleep bonnet before bed (like the product recommends) and the curls still worked out fine. She seemed to sleep well, too. She said it felt “funny” when she went to sleep but did not complain. Happy mom! Give it a try for your cheer girl!

Beautiful curls and chaos-free mornings!
I got the no-headband octocurl for my daughter. Her hair is fine and very straight, but she likes it to be curled now and then and I like it curled for church and special occasions. We had tried other methods of heatless curls, but I fell on a video promoting this particular curler, and I knew it was what we needed. I'm so glad we got them! I started on completely dry hair and made a zigzag part. Then I put the curlers in using small sections of hair. I love the addition of the elastics at the end. They made it so a "ponytail holder" was always available. After all of the hair was in, I lightly sprayed it with a water bottle and then put on a satin bonnet. She slept on them overnight. The curlers stayed in perfectly. They did loosen up a little bit, but not overly. She said they were much, much more comfortable to sleep on than any other method of overnight curls we have tried. The next morning, I took the curlers out one by one and immediately sprayed each curl with hairspray as soon as I had it off the curler. Her hair was beautifully curled--not too tight, not too loose. The curls held throughout the day, but not as well as I had hoped. I think using a holding product on her hair when rolling would be helpful, and we will be trying that next time. It made getting ready so much faster! Normally curling her hair takes about 15-20 minutes, but this was less than five. The reason I am rating four stars instead of five is the color. They are a medium turquoise in the picture, but they are a very dark teal in person. That was disappointing for her as I thought they were going to be her favorite color. Overall, I highly, highly recommend. We also bought another set for our other daughter and had great results with them as well. Her hair is thick and naturally curly, so we gave it a good test on two very different hair types. Very pleased with this purchase.

Just okay
These work but are harder to put in in the video shows. Also, very hard to sleep in and the curls got a bit tangled in the morning, so there’s more work in the morning than I thought

This. Works. Just buy it
This. Works. I don’t ever like to use heat on my hair mostly bc I’m a little lazy and I don’t have the skill, but I love this bc it is the easiest way to get the prettiest curls and it’s so low effort. It will take some time to learn how to do it perfectly and make the ends look a little more natural rather than frayed. It only took me like 15 minuets and I have hair down to my very lower back, I recommend getting a bonnet so they stay in there really good. Love this product!!

No thank you octopus head
I was so excited to get these after watching a multitude of videos. I have really long blonde hair and the things wouldn't stay on my head. I tried over and over and over and different ways. It could just be my hair. But it did not work anything like the videos showed

Heatless Curlers
This is super easy to use!! Leaves my daughters hair curly and beautiful in the morning. Just wrap little peicesof hair around each strand, sleep and unwind in the morning for a super fast, easy, beautiful hairstyle that looks like it took hours to get ready.

Works to curl but doesn't stay long
It does definitely work to curl your hair but it does not stay in long at all. The front stays curly for a while but the back curls fall out within an hour. My hair does hold curl well when using heat but not for this. It is not hard to use but I am a side sleeper so it was not the most comfortable but I was able to manage. Once I wrapped it in the Octocurl I put on my satin bonnet for the night to keep everything in place.
