I’ve had this plate for a few months now, and it works amazing. It has great print adhesion and is easy to remove. It fits just like the official Bambu plates and is easy to put in and take out. It also really helps to make the bottom of the print look nice and smooth, and gives it a great pattern, although you do have to shine light on it to see it.

Textured PEI side works like a charm - and the opposite side has some kind of holographic confetti looking effect, which can be seen on the bottom side of your finished print (shows better on larger prints). I only do PLA and both sides worked without issue. Great adhesion, and easy to bend and pop off your completed prints.

The textured PEI side works great, and it's slightly less aggressively textured than the OEM Bambu textured plate. But that's probably not why you're buying this. The smooth side has a beautiful pattern that transfers to any object that sticks to it, including the rainbow color effect, which is impressive. You'll probably want to slow down your print and turn your bed temp up, though, because the surface has very low adhesion, to the point where even PLA warps off the bed incredibly easily, and using adhesives will ruin the pattern. I'm giving it 4 stars because, even though it definitely would never be my go-to build surface for anything that requires good adhesion or dimensional precision, for aesthetic prints with large bed contact areas, a little patience will produce those "that's beautiful, how did you do that?" moments with amazing consistency.

Used this with my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with the stock smooth PEI high temp plate setting. It does throw an error for the bed locator code of course, but you just hit confirm and it's fine.Tip: make sure to wash it with warm water and soap between prints. It sticks perfectly with no glue sticks, etc as long as you do that. I've printed on this probably 20 times already and it doesn't lose the holographic effect at all.Fyi, the holographic coating is pretty soft, so DONT use tools to remove the print. Just let it cool off and flex it to remove.

The effect of the holographic PEY side isn’t super strong but is still present. Please note that I used a glitter filament for my test print, but the rainbow effect is from the build plate.Aside from the holographic effect, the first print I threw at it stuck with no problems and released easily after cooling. It is also leaves the contact surface on the print very smooth.This works well with the “Smooth PEI” plate settings in Bambu studio, you will have to override the code scanner check that happens during print prep.Also, this build surface is very soft so do not use a scraper or tools to try to remove the print as you may damage the build plate!!

I tried everything that everyone said to keep the print on the build plate, but it didn’t work. The first project did, but after that it wouldn’t. I washed it with warm water and soap then used Isopropyl Alcohol. I had to tape the last print on to keep it from moving around the plate. And even then I didn’t see any holographic on the print.

I bought this plate from amazon before realizing that it was (along with many other options) available on aliexpress for cheaper. I ended up purchasing additional plates from Aliexpress but all three of them arrived damaged. The one ordered from Amazon was perfect, and shipped much faster of course. The damaged plates seem to be still be mostly usable, but the quality assurance, returnability, and speed of shipping from Amazon are worthwhile in my opinion.

The plate does have cute designs and you can use either side but the plate itself is super cheap and thin.
