I admit that I might be biased on this sun hood/protective cover by FPVtosky. No, they gave me nothing for a review, it's just that this is my 4th one that I have purchased for my drones that have the RC2 controllers. The cover itself is a hard plastic, but does not feel cheap. It is easy to install and use on the RC2 Controller. The set I bought here, also came with the screws and lanyard screw in holders that you need for all to work. The screws and lanyard screws are good quality and never an issue. Easy to install and fits great. The lanyard I really like as it is leather, wide, so it does not cut into your neck, easily adjustable and great quality. This set also comes with two glass screen protectors, which seem very nice. I have a collection of them because I never use them. When I open the sunscreen/protector, there is nothing I do that would break the screen on controller. When the protector is closed, it's protecting. I get this set for the lanyard, screws needed and the protector for the controller when i transport it. As far as blocking sun, it does an ok job but you really need a bigger protector or the other one that FPVtosky sells with extensions (that set did not fit as well as I liked), but this shade does and can work with some thought and position of sun. Overall, this particular set works great for protection and the lanyard. Very happy with it.

This sun hood / protective cover for my DJI RC2 controller is most excellent! The fit and finish is perfect -- it snaps into place convincingly, and I bet I don't even need to use the screws, but I will just because it finishes off the solution nicely. The sun shade is greatly appreciated on a sunny day, and I love that I can just leave the joysticks in place. Such a huge time saver, and I'm sure in time I'd wear out the threads in time. Bravo, FPVtosky. Nice solution!

Very well made and great fit and finish. The hinge seems durable and has tension to stay open/shut on its own. Doesn't flop around at all. The screen protector fits well and seem to be good quality as well as the strap which is surprisingly nice. Good purchase for a good price.

Fits perfectly and a high quality protector for the screen. Easy to install and the screws are machined well. No issues at all and happy with the price/quality.

This is an inexpensive cover (I purchased the version that does not have the lanyard) that is easy to install and will provide protection to the screen when closed, and possibly some sun shade while open, depending on the angle of the sun. The downsides for the unit I received is that it does not close securely, leaving a gap at the bottom that can let dust in and get caught and pulled open by mistake (see photo). It does not have an additional flip-out sun screen, which can provide shade in more situation. The Arzroic unit I bought previously snaps closed more securely and has small pads at the sides of the cover to help protect the remote. While it was slightly more expensive, it fit better and had the added fold-out sunscreen, and the lanyard.

As a frequent outdoor flyer with my DJI Mini 5 Pro, this 3-in-1 accessory kit for the RC2 remote has been a fantastic upgrade. The sun hood/protective cover is the standout – super easy to install with the included hand screws, and the 0-180° adjustable angle lets me tilt it perfectly to block harsh sunlight on bright days, reducing glare and giving a clearer screen view without squinting. It also doubles as solid protection when folded, keeping the remote safe in my bag. The two 9H tempered glass screen protectors went on bubble-free with the tool kit – touch response is still smooth, no fingerprints, and they feel premium. The double-sided leather lanyard is comfy (wide 2.5cm strap, adjustable length), hangs the heavy RC2 securely around my neck, freeing my hands during setup or walks. Everything is lightweight and durable; used it on several flights now with no issues. Great value bundle – highly recommend for any RC2 user wanting better visibility and protection outdoors!

I picked this up more for the protection of the screen than for sun shade purposes, but it does both well. It's easy to install, it comes with two crews that you use to mount it to the back of your RC controller, just snap it on and hand tighten the screws. What I love about this cover is that you don't have to take off the control knobs off the remote anymore when throwing it a bag, the cover is designed to fit over the controller while the knobs are installed, that's a big plus for me since it saves time and I'm less likely to lose a knob. Cover is lightweight, but sturdy enough that you won't need to worry about your screen being accidentally scratched or cracked while transporting it in a bag with other items. It does provide a nice block of the sun to give you a bit more visibility while flying in high contrast sunny days. I'm very happy with this shield and for the price I think it's well with it for the screen protection alone!

Inexpensive, easy to install and seems to be fairly well constructed for the price.

Perfect fit. Simple install. Prevents the need to remove control arms in transit. Greatly improved screen visibility in bright conditions. Cheap. Came with a free neck strap. Recommended to all.

If you own a DJI drone with RC2 controller I think is basic equipment you should own. Theres nothing worse then the sun ruining your view of the screen and with the visor installed you no longer have to remove the sticks. It comes with a visor, Neck lanyard, Screen protectors and all hardware needed to install. If you buy the ABS case from FPVtosky the remote will fit inside the case with or without the visor with added insert. The quality is excellent and I would buy more FPVtosky products. It makes your setup look that much slicker and provides a few safety precautions like blocking the sun and being able to put the controller around your neck with the lanyard so you dont drop it. All in all I think these item are equipment every DJI drone owner should have.

Ho montato il vetro subito sul radiocomando prima del suo utilizzo, appena appena uscito dal pacco. Il montaggio é stato veloce, preciso e centrato, senza pelucchi bolle o imperfezioni. Qualità top anche per la comoda tracolla dal materiale assolutamente premium e la copertura del radiocomando che si presenta solida e robusta. Protegge gli stick e ti consente di lasciarli montati. Ottimo anche il fatto che la parte superiore sia totalmente liscia, perfetta per stickers o personalizzazioni varie.
