This stuff is strong as heck. I usually get chai teabags from the store and they are kinda tasteless so I use a 1/4 of a teaspoon mixed into my chai tea made with boiled milk, and add a little honey and it’s perfect. This stuff is too strong to drink on its own unless you like it that way. Nice peppery finish. Very tasty

The first ingredient is cloves and the second one is black pepper. This is the complete opposite of every other chai spice I’ve ever had. I added half a teaspoon to 12 oz of black tea, added milk and sugar and it was still unpleasantly spicy. I’m going to try combining a couple of teaspoons of this spice mix with equal amounts of “gentler” spices, such as cardamom and cinnamon and see if it’s less intense, since it can’t be returned.

Very strong flavor, a little goes a long way. There are no directions on the label so the first cup I made was entirely too strong. Use a very small amount. Otherwise it’s very good. Spicy, peppery and ginger are the strongest flavors that come out. Comes in a much smaller tin than I anticipated, but since you don’t use much I guess it evens out.

This has a strong flavor of cloves and black pepper/ginger. The ginger/black pepper makes it very spicy which I like. But it has no chai flavor - no cinnamon or cardamom comes through. It’s very bitter and unpleasant to drink. Beware - the reviews are for various products not just the chai. The chai has no good reviews.
