Review: UPDATE: Great company, great product! - I love the look of this coffee cup, and the lid was absolutely leak-proof until it fell off the table the other day (its sixth day of use). It was empty at that time, and the cup landed on the lid. The lid seemed like it was intact upon first examination--no cracks or other signs that it had hit the breakroom carpet, so I put coffee in it and went on my way. However, when I went to open the lid to drink out of it, I discovered the hinge had broken and does not stay attached when the silicone plug is not in the drinking hole. When the plug is in the hole, it will stay on somewhat, but it is loose and could become detached easily. This container is no longer suitable to use in the clinic, where my beverages must be in leak-proof containers that I can easily and quickly open and close during appointments. I will reach out to the company to see if this issue is rare and could be remedied. I will report back what I hear, but as of right now, I would not buy this coffee cup again. To-go cups all eventually fall, and though some damage is expected and does not tend to be a problem (especially cosmetic damage), I do not expect a cup of this quality and reputation to have one of its key features eliminated with a single fall to the floor from a relatively low height (compared to if I had been standing with it in my hand) and low weight (compared to if it was filled with any amount of beverage). **UPDATE** I didn't reach out to them; the company reached out to me (after my review) and replaced the cup free of charge and with free shipping! I am still using the other cup at home without the cap/plug, and the replacement is working very well for me at work. It's hard to find a small, good quality, metal, easy-to-use, leak-proof hot beverage cup, which is ideal for my needs (working with special needs children in a clinic). I definitely recommend this company based on my experience with their customer service, my coffee cups, AND the water bottle I bought to match my coffee cup. Review: A smol tumbler with impeccable quality, I dare say! - One reason I chose to buy this design is because the upper part is wider in diameter. It makes washing easy peasy, because you can fit your hand there without much effort. I'm not a big fan of bottles that require an extra tool to reach the bottom (you know, the long brush) so this does the job amazingly. Plus, I don't need cups that are too big because I prefer small ones that are easy to clean (and forces me to walk around to refill them so I get time to stretch my desk-bound back a little), so this one is the perfect size. Second thing, by golly, it retains the temperature for so long. My hot matcha latte stays hot throughout a 3-hour class, and my iced water still has a considerable amount of ice in it after a full school day in summer. I had doubts on the seemingly thin transparent cover, but it still does its job perfectly well even when I forgot to put on the rubber seal ring around the cover after washing. The product range is aesthetically pleasing as well! Designed with beautiful muted colors that are true to the images (attached pictures are edited with filters so it might not look so much like the real color). Quality-wise, material is sturdy and feels nice to the touch, really. The matte finish and outer layer make it less cold than if you directly touch stainless steel. You have the strap too, which makes carrying it around feel like nothing. I'd say it'll be a highly pleasing gift if you're looking for one, either for your beloved, workmates, acquaintances, or as a proof of self-love to yourself.
