I've long admired the gorgeous architecture of Patrick Ahearn's firm -- the houses are stunning and yet, as the title of the book suggests, timeless. This book is full of photos that reflect that.I found myself unexpectedly put off by the tone, though. Several of the gorgeous homes were owned by him and his family, with care taken to highlight his impressive car collection. The author's had a great career and has undoubtedly earned his success--but the book feels a little bit like it's saying, "Look at how successful I've been." Something about it just rubbed me the wrong way while reading it.Still, it's a great coffee table book full of fabulous homes with brilliant designs, so it's otherwise hard to knock.

Wowwww... This is what you call taste and design. If you don't know who Patrick Ahearn is, start looking him up right now. This man is excellent at his job and very down to earth. This book is a must have for anyone who loves a good design with every detail perfectly executed. You won't regret buying it.The pictures are rich and vivid, and I personally love the history so that one can understand how he got to where he is now. Will buy more of his books so that I can stop stalking his website and instagram :):).

Really great book. Big, beautiful full page photos. All of the homes featured have great backstories the architect created to help propel each design. The result are wonderful homes full of character. I could happily live in any one of them. The book is aptly named; the homes are all designed with a truly timeless feel. If I could have one wish regarding the book, it would simply be more pictures of each house...there are never enough to satiate my curiosity; I want to see every inch! I buy a lot of residential architecture books, and this is already one of my absolute favorites.

the book is fantastic with lots of beautiful photos- the one thing i didn’t like is how you can see the strands of the binding as you move through the pages.... overall, it’s a beautiful collection of homes.

As most quality books on Architects work published today it has great photos and display of their work. But like most quality books on Architects today it is really to big and heavy to completely enjoy. They are really a little off putting just to pick up. The old now, smaller 8 1/2 by 11 around 200 pages much more comfortable.

I just received this book and I cannot put it down! It's filled with gorgeous pictures and I love reading the history about the restoration of these homes. The quality of the book is outstanding! I've been building up a collection of books and this is easily one of my all time favorites. So glad I ordered this book.

I have already used these pages as inspiration for 2 projects. Beautiful! Timeless, indeed!

Exceptional, inspirational, swoon worthy, timeless, classic, superior architecture. Can’t wait to apply some ideas into my new build dream home here in Melbourne Australia. Love following Patricks work, he’s incredibly talented.
