Excellent sheets for hot sleepers
Wow these are really good sheets. Expensive but worth the money especially when combined with Bedgear’s cooling mattress cover. The key is to buy the cooling mattress pad first because no cooling sheets will work if you have the wrong mattress pad.

How are these so cool?
I felt like the biggest idiot sucker when I ordered these sheets. I have never spent so much on any sort of bedding let alone a set of sheet. I was so pleasantly surprised. They actually feel cooling. They actually keep me from overheating, even with heavy blankets on top. Which is a huge plus because I love the weight of big blankets, but my husband is a literal heater when he is asleep. The sheets feel like a a very silky very soft extra stretchy exercise outfit. It is insanely soft and insanely cooling. This is the best investment I have made for our bed to date. Now I just need to save up to get a backup set.The only downfall is I have a hard time keeping my pillow in place. It just slips around. I have found that putting a second pillow upright between my pillow and the headboard has help from having my pillow mash up against the headboard and keep enough shape to remain comfortable. Also, the blue color is absolutely beautiful. And the bottom sheets has a band that reminds me of men's boxers that keeps the sheet under that mattress better than any other sheets I have yet to try.Amazing sheets. I have not slept so well and cool since before I met my husband.

Like no sheets I’ve ever felt before!
I have been using these for a week and they are so different than anything I’ve ever used before.- Putting them on the bed is a complete joy. From the smallest details, such as the tag reading “head/foot”, so that I don’t put them on the wrong way, all the way to the bands which hold the fitted sheets firmly to the bed.- These feel amazing. They are a stretchy material that reminds me of stretchy pajamas, or maybe it’s thin baseball pants? It is very unique. I have never felt sheets that were anything like this. I would not exactly describe the material as soft. They are stretchy and comfortable, but just not soft.- Washing does not change them at all, and it doesn’t seem like it ever will either, due to the high quality type of the fabric.- The color is a deep, beautiful blue, exactly as shown in the listing pictures.- I have issues with sometimes getting extremely cold, and then very hot, and then cold again. These have made a big difference. My body still is not regulating temperature correctly, but the extremes are not nearly as intense when I’m snuggled in these sheets.- They are a little bit slippery. For my husband and I, that equates into the comforter and blankets occasionally slipping towards the bottom of the bed. and having to pull on them during the night. Don’t get me wrong, it is nothing like satin sheets that don’t stay on the bed at all! These are just noticeably more slippery than the sheets we have been using. I am more than happy to have somewhat slippery sheets in order for them to feel as neat as these ones do!Overall, these are great sheets that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to a friend.

These are really nice sheets, but oof, that price
So, really, over $300 for sheets? Wild. Like, I see monikers like "ultra premium" "luxury" "perfomance" "hotel grade" and the like thrown around on nice sheets. Like, anything over $100 for a sheet set, you have to convince me. But, as a free trial, I will give these a shot. Are these the nicest sheets I have ever owned? Yes. I will just get that out of the way. Is it even close? No, not really. That's not because I'm over here getting extra cheap sheets. I have some nice sets. I love me some percale, I have some "ultra premium" cooling sheets that I swear by, but these, they are just over the top. Everything is nice on them. The bands, like, these look they'll hold up for decades and still be holding that fitted sheet like it's vacuum-sealed to the mattress. The material is thick, but still cooling, while being so soft and seeming stain resistant as well. They look amazing, the color is rich and the texture is so clean. The pillowcases are huge, mixed feelings on the bands on those, only if you have a pillow that really fills is out do they make any sense, but they aren't in the way otherwise.I do really really really like these sheets. Are they worth the price? Yes, with the caveat if you have that kind of disposable income. You can get good, nay great sheets for a third of the price. Honestly, if these were maybe $150 less, it would feel like a no-brainer. As is, a luxury, for sure.

Differentiated feel, mediocre quality
Ordered these because I do have regular issues with sleeping hot and I wanted to see if the inherent moisture content and slightly higher conductivity of nylon would have an effect. The Good:- The sheets are 100% nylon and have a really nice subtle stetchiness- The sheets are obviously cool to the touch, and there's no denying that- The texture is great, and they have a silky smooth feel that has held up through a few washes- The care instructions don't really require anything out of the ordinary; per the tag, machine wash cold and tumble dry low- The sheets do have a nice cool feel when they haven't been in contact with your body warmth, and I think the difference between them and standard cotton sheets was nice for a few days- The fitted sheet is nice and deep and fits our very tall mattress well, without undue stretch- the pillowcases have little pillow stirrups inside that keep your pillow from working its way out which is a problem I experience that this pillowcase solvedThe Bad:- Out of the package, there were a few small but concerning things the primary of which was a not so small loose seam that I had to decide whether to snip and cross my fingers it didn't get worse, or return them and swap for a set without the issue lest it get worse over time; I opted to snip it and keep things moving- I chose the light blue color, and after the first couple of nights my wife's pillowcase had a lightened discolored area reminiscent of a bleach stain; my reaction was to go through her skincare routine items to check for benzol peroxide or some other acid that could have caused this, but she uses nothing with these chemicals so I have no explanation for it; at any rate, we have other non-white sheets that do not have this issue so it's hard to excuse it under any circumstance because I would expect a durable good like this to be colorfast- Another discoloration spot has developed now, much smaller and down near the bottom third of the mattress- They are very catchy/picky on any dry skin on your body, this is most noticeable on my feet; I don't really have super dry skin on my feet, in fact I'd say for a man they are pretty good for sure, but I have found myself applying lotion right before bed to avoid the snagging and catching which again, is inherent in the type of material so you may find it acceptable- The top sheet is ENORMOUS-- I've included a picture to illustrate, but on a 17" thick queen mattress the sheet is wide enough to extend past the bottom of the mattress and our adjustable base, all the way to just about touching the floor as you can see; this means the blue sheet is clearly visible with our king comforter in place, which is not a popular look with my wife or me, honestly- Once you're used to the sheets, the cooling sensation seems to fade away; I've been sleeping on them for about a month now and although I still like the feel, I don't think they're helping me sleep cooler but I did at first; I'm sure there's some explanation for this, but for the review I'll just report it and let the buyer decideI'll mention that when I contacted bedgear about the discoloration, they advised me to file a warranty claim through their very responsive warranty service. When I did so, they requested photos and ultimately denied my claim, saying that the discoloration wasn't covered. They did extend a replacement of the entire sheet set as a courtesy and replaced them with a white set at my request, but I wonder if it would be extended to everyone or if it would be a case by case decision.Ultimately I cannot recommend this product. The cooling effect promised was not pronounced enough or effective enough to justify all of the oddities and shortcomings of the design and quality. I expected an extremely high quality product, and I do not think they fulfill this expectation.
