Just Black, not "Oil-Rubbed Bronze"
Right out of the box, the "Oil-Rubbed Bronze" is just BLACK. I haven't installed it yet so I can't yet comment on anything else (will update later when I can). Plan to just make it match my handle better by using craft paint. Since it won't get touched much, I think that will be a fine solution for me, but most people won't be able or willing to do so, so I wanted to make sure the color issue was noted as soon as possible.UPDATE: Over Thanksgiving weekend, my step-father installed it for me, and so far it's working great. I LOVE being able to open the door with a clicker! It works from my car in the driveway, which is about 20-25 ft from the door, I'd guess. And it looks okay as is with the actual oil-rubbed bronze door level...unless you really stop and look anyway. It's not been installed very long, but it has been quite cold and very wet most of the time since its installation, and so far so good!Update #2: Daughter got off bus before I got home yesterday, and she couldn't get in because it would not accept the code. Just beeps at us. Luckily I arrived right after and got in using the key fob. I immediately ordered one for her, but it would be better if she could use the code. All this being said, it's possible that my boyfriend accidentally de-programmed it while trying to lock it back one day a while back. I'm going to attempt to re-program it, and I'll update as how to that goes.

Great-looking lockset with nice features, but a lifespan of less than a year for us
I bought this lockset less than a year ago, and over the past month or so, it started working very erratically. It finally just froze up completely, so we removed it from the door, and were able to take a look at what state it was in on the inside. My husband saw pretty serious corrosion on the internal surfaces, which seems to be the source of the problem. Rather odd, since we have a very dry climate with almost no humidity at all.I believe this should be covered under the 1-year manufacturer's warranty. When I reached out to Amazon, they directed me to contact the manufacturer directly. We'll see how this goes... it's a bummer, because I really liked the way it looked, and the remote functionality. I'd buy one again except that their lifespan seems to be very short... perhaps there is something similar from a different manufacturer who uses more durable materials?

Only works with backset of 2 3/8" OR 2 3/4" NOT 2 1/2"
I have a mass produced exterior door on a house built in 2004--nothing custom, special, too old or too new. This lock won't work with it. It will only work on doors that have 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" backset, or hole spacing from the edge of the door. It does not tell you this in their description. My door is 2 1/2", and it is not close enough to work. I actually learned this on a different branded electronic deadbolt (the mechanisms are the same) and returned it with no issue and no restocking fee.I then asked a question about this on Amazon and after a week, no one could give me an answer. So I ordered it anyway, feeling confident in Amazon's return policy that I'd used before. On this one, I am getting charged a 15% restocking fee. Someone is actually making money off of a poor description! The seller says that it costs them even more than 15% to return it to the manufacturer, so it seems to be the manufacturer that is at biggest fault, although like I said, the last lock that this happened to me on was returned with no fee. I'm returning this lock as new, basically unopened (I only opened it enough to get to the instructions and find out that it wouldn't work).Measure your door! Mine was within 1/8" and wouldn't work. It assembled ok, but put the mechanism into a bind which caused too much friction for it to turn.I rated it 2 stars because it wouldn't work for me and the return has been costly. This may be a 4 or 5 star lock if it will work with your door. The look and feel of it seemed nice.

USED TO BE Perfect
It has been 8 months with my lock and I need to edit my review. My lock has stopped working properly. It seems like the batteries die every couple of days and the lock will not open. I have bought several packs in the last 30 days. I am in the process of contacting the company by e-mail. I will update this review when I find a solution to this problem. 4/26/15PREVIOUS REVIEW (August 2014) - Perfect! I could not find these in the store. Easy to set up. My mother cannot get out of bed to get the door quickly so she uses this to allow her nurses to enter. We did not re-key it so that is a bit of an inconvenience. We just use the key pad to get in the front door now. The beeping noise wakes my mother up sometimes when we leave for work. I should probably read to see if that beeping feature can be turned off.

Near-Perfect Solution!
Installation was a breeze... took me only 20 minutes and that was double-checking at every step!A good solution for a pair of old folks who can't hear the doorbell consistently and are planning for that inevitable day when neither can either hear NOR GET UP OF THE FLOOR to answer the front door personally-- pretty smart for nonogenarians!! Now they can provide a help-provider with advance access through the door on a one-time or semi-permanent basis. We loaded up the Lock with 4 codes and one one-time code right away and all's well. The only thing that doesn't work is the post-entry time-lock whereby one can have the door auto-lock itself XX seconds after entry....

All in all I am satisfied with it
Before I bought this I had read the reviews. Some people complained, but my installation was fairly seamless. It took about 25 minutes only because I was distracted with other things. The plastic on the buttons does seem to stick from time to time, but does not affect the performance. Due to the easy-to-access and easy-to-changing 4 AA batteries, the unit on the inside is a bit large and bulky but it looks okay. All in all I am satisfied with it, and if you have ever been locked out of your own house you will REALLY appreciate this!! I can assign a temporary code for someone to care for my animals while on vacation, and reset it without worry that someone had copied a key. For the price and functionality, I probably should have given this a 5 star rating.

Good look and love the remote and other functionalities
Good look and love the remote and other functionalities. Downside is that it's slow to open the deadbolt, visitors will push on the door, preventing the deadbolt to open because motor is not strong enough.
