The product is a muted blush pink like pictured. There are some veins that look like cracks but they are not cracks. The inside is glossy but the outside is not. I use it as a large coaster for my nightstand because it is made of linen. It is a gorgeous, high quality piece. I may get another for my other nightstand. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.
