Floxite Lighted Mirror, 8X Plus 1X Magnification, Brushed Nickel, 11"

I'm 55 and over the years have used several different lighted makeup mirrors to help me see my face. I started with 5x and my latest mirrors have been 7x. But that magnification wasn't doing it anymore. I thought about trying 10x - but I could not find one that allowed me to see my whole face at the same time.When I got this mirror, I was shocked. It is huge! - but the magnification is amazing and I can see my whole face at the same time. I am very happy with this mirror!Pros:Good quality (no distortion)Great magnificationCan see entire face at once.Has a front outlet to allow me to plug in my hair dryer.Plugs in instead of being rechargeable (I did not want that)Physical button to turn on and off (I don't like the ones that turn on automatically when your face is near)Cons:The only con is that the light is a bit dim compared to some of the LED choices out there.It doesn't bother me because it is sitting in front of my huge lighted makeup vanity - but if you are trying to use it as your only light source I don't think it will be enough.Of note - I paid significantly less than the current $130 because I bought a return. However - If this conked out, I would not hesitate to repurchase at full price. I could not find another mirror quite like this anywhere.

I ordered this mirror to replace a smaller one that burned out after 10 years. It was much larger than the original, but it turns out I like it better because I can see my whole face. Light is bright enough & magnification great enough to see details in my skin. Electric cord means I don’t have to buy batteries all the time. Base is small enough to not take up much space in the bathroom vanity. Too large to pack in a suitcase- I wouldn’t want to risk breaking it either.

Had a smaller diameter mirror same as this (x8 magnification) but cord starting to short out from too much rotating back and forth. The focal point on this larger mirror is hard to see with both eyes. Ok for one eye.

When I first received it I thought it might be too big, but after using it for a while it is perfect.I wanted a vanity mirror that wasn't battery operated nor rechargeable. I also wanted strong lights and not LED. This checked all the boxes. It's wired, has a port to plug something in, and has strong fluorescent lights and really great magnification. I ordered one of the open box options from an alternate prime seller to save $$ and there is nothing wrong with it.

Finally a mirror that I can see with to apply my makeup!

I like the size of this mirror , it was big enough to see most of the face, and the magnify was perfect, 7 x- but the lighting was terrible, NOT near enough to see to apply make up ,that is the only thing I found to be a big drawback , otherwise it was what I needed .. Just needed more lighting so returned this mirror

Received item with the packaging all beat up. I just knew the mirror would be broken. Got it out of the box and it was fine. Plugged it in and nothing. No light came on. Spoke to Amazon Rep to start a return process. He informed me that it was a refurbished mirror. That was never mentioned in the information about the mirror. This mirror brand is Floxite. I pd 127.99 not including tax .I expect bettet.

I absolutely love this mirror! I does light up the whole bathroom, but it is great for doing my makeup, etc! I love it with the outlet on the side for my powered beauty tools. The only improvement I would suggest is to make it so the consumer can choose the brightness. Thank you!
