Bought these for a surgical wound because the health centre were low on supplies and giving me more basic ones which fell off after a few hours. They had previously been using these and I found them great. The gentle border is sticky and soft, minimises discomfort and can be peeled back to check the wound and stuck back on. Reasonable absorption for infection etc. They say they are shower proof but I was asked by nurse to avoid getting them wet. Good cushioning for a painful wound, it's a bit like memory foam, nice and soft more than the white paper type dressings like Cutiderm. I wore them with a piece of Inodine dressing cut to size inside (helps with infection and good for healing).

I don’t know what I would do without these I wasted so much money buying other products until I found these.

Used by our doctors so assume their the best they do work well but expensive your choice

Allevyn pads are easy to remove and stay on even after showering.

Great product. Sticks well, is waterproof, cares for the wound and so easy to remove. What a relief!
