The Bad Habit Coloring Book: artwork inspired by the Agent Pendergast series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child Paperback – September 23, 2015

If there is a bright future for web-based commerce and media, it is this sort of thing I think. An "independent" artist, driven and supported by a largely "virtual" fanclub, with contact marketing and input done almost exclusively through social media.Am I biased with regards to the author, having purchased previous and unrelated works from her, including some tricky commissions which were executed nicely in short order. The book itself is a fandom made visual, with "inside" jokes aplenty. The power of seeing a literary character or environment made real (visual) is unquestionable; even though the novel Jurassic Park may have been "better", the film is what people will most likely remember and enjoy the most. That said, even a person sadly unfamiliar with the works of Lincoln and Child should be able to appreciate the quality of work presented here.The PenderPals imaginations helped this book move forward, and we are very, very pleased with the final product. Ms Stafford's clean, sharp, but soulful faces, damn near photorealistic touches, and solidly modern anime/manga influence all make for a very clean, stylish, rich rendering....much like the authors' prose and the charisma of The Agent himself.As final judgement I can only offer what any greedy superfan is heard to say: We love it, now give us MORE!PS -- it is my hope that at some point Tiffany will compile some process-work or behind-the-scenes bits....sketches, development, storyboarding, etc. A sort of "DVD extras" for her body of work, as superfans always want to see how things come to be.

I've been a big fan of the Pendergast Files for several years now, and I really enjoy coloring. So, it was a wonderful surprise to find this coloring book. The artist is very talented and her work is amazing. The pictures are well drawn and are on sturdy paper that doesn't rip easily. I've tried lots of different art supplies on the pictures and they haven't ruined the art or paper.The only downside is if you want to remove the pictures from the book you'll have to cut them out because the pages aren't perforated. Otherwise, it's a great coloring book and I got mine for $10. Give it a try if you love coloring, or buy it because you love the book series and the characters. I also recommend reading the series of you haven't already.

I am an Agent Pendergast fan and I was so happy to get this coloring book to take some time and color my favorite characters. It is beautifully drawn and thanks for getting it to me so quickly.

As a huge Pendergast fan, this coloring book was a must for me! I'm very happy that the authors allowed this creation by artist Tiffany Stafford. It was so fun to figure out what scene each drawing was from and to see her own rendition of the characters. My favorite drawing was of Constance at the Botanical Garden, totally badass! Stafford's artistic style is interesting, sleek and fun. She captures a cool sophistication in her Pendergast, and a lot of fun interaction with his friends and associates, very funny expressions. Every fan needs a copy of this!

I bought this to support one of my favorite book characters and was not disappointed. Highly recommend.

Being a member of Team Pendergast on Facebook, I am familiar with Tiffany's wonderful artwork. I am so pleased she was able to put this coloring book together for all the fans of Agent Pendergast. Tiffany has a way of managing to make unlikely humorous scenes of Pendergast (the karaoke scene comes to mind) come to life without making it feel like he's being made fun of. It's fun. The more serious scenes are well done, too. If you love Pendergast, you should love this.

I got this for my husband, who LOVES the Pendergast novels. The first thing he said after I gave him the book was "Now I need crayons!"The drawings are great and my husband was able to tell me who all the characters were and even which books the scenes were from.This is a must-have for all Pendergast fans who are still kids at heart (and even those who think they're too old to color).
