Wish I'd realised earlier that I can get German style stretch jersey fitted sheets.After years of cursing at bad fitting british style cotton sheets, which never fit exactly and wrinkle like crazy (and usually bleed colour in the wash) I looked on Amazon and of course you can get jersey sheets from Germany here.They stretch, so look like they fit and don't look wrinkled. They also don't colour bleed in the wash. And feel softer.

2 metre/ 200cm lenght jersey elastic fitted single sheet
Note these sheets fit a 2 metre/200cm length mattress. Standard length is 190 cm. Sheets are soft jersey fabric and I've dried them on a LOW setting in the tumble dryer to avoid possible shrinking. Come in a variety of colours I bought a single bed size with standard mattress depth. Are warmer to the touch than polyester-cotton mix sheets. Good strong elastic around edges easy to wash and dry.

You might want to think about this and look for heavier weight jersey...
This is OK - brightly coloured and a good size, but the fabric is quite thin and the weave is coarse. The sheet has developed little holes in it already (only had it for about 3 months & it started to happen almost immediately)/ They are expensive for what they are to be honest. Unless you are after really bright coloured sheets, I'd look for something of heavier weight cotton jersey.

Avoid these fitted sheets
I ordered two of these sheets (1 red, 1 natural white) and they are probably the worst purchases I have ever made. I have had German fitted sheets before (usually bought when in Germany) so ordered with confidence but have never experienced anything like this. After using the red one, the 'fluff' from the sheet was everywhere - all over the bedroom carpet and even in the en suite (how can you have 'fluff' off a cotton fitted sheet?!). The 'fluff' from the natural white one is less noticeable as we have a cream-coloured carpet in the bedroom but still everywhere. I bought the size 200x220cm to fit our bed and they looked fine when first put on but, within a couple of days, the material stretched so much that you have 'pools' of excess fabric, which has 'nowhere to go'. Because I didn't use them immediately (not anticipating any problem), I am past Amazon's Returns Date but want to warn other prospective buyers.

The sizing is wrong. We purchased these for a 160x70 cot matress and they are huge. This means they are lose fitting, not in line with current safe sleep recommendations.The sheets themselves are fine, quite thick and soft to the touch.

REALLY UPSET WITH THE DIRTY SLEPT ON SHEET.ONLY SAW IT AFTER I SAW THAT IT FITTED WELL FOR A KING SIZE; IT BEING A SUPER KING.
