The BEST popcorn - seriously.
Alright, so, I have a bunch of reviews on Amazon for a bunch of different products, but I've always kind of giggled at the thought of people reviewing really random, seemingly non-consequential items (like toilet paper, paper clips, and - yup, you guessed it - popcorn). This is different, though, I promise!Hubs and I like to end our nights watching movies and marathoning shows, and we inevitably start reaching for snacks, and I decided to order some popcorn. I read a while back that the old microwavable bags were pretty crappy, so I was delighted to see that there's a better option - the fact that the corn is organic and that it comes with grass-fed butter was just icing on the cake! When I finally got the package, I was super excited to give it a shot.Listen. LISTENNNNN. /beyonceI popped away for 2 minutes, took the bag out of the microwave, shook the bag vigorously, and carefully opened it. I knocked off the few pieces that had stuck themselves to the bag, then added the butter. I've found that the best way is to drizzle the butter over the top (don't be too heavy-handed, because you'll just soak through a few pieces and miss a lot of the others), then carefully pour the butter against the sides of the bag. Then, quickly close the top, hold on tight and shake shake shake! The butter distributes really well, and it takes much less time than the pour-shake-pour-shake-pour-shake method.Although the popcorn itself is SO SO SO yummy, we also like to sprinkle some flavor to our popcorn, and have found that white cheddar is PHENOMENAL (but sprinkle just a LITTLE, or it'll be too salty!), especially with the Quinn popcorn.I don't know if it's because it's not the crazy overgrown GMO corn, but this popcorn is... softer? The shells of the kernels aren't nearly as tough as the usual popcorn, and it's super crunchy but also very light. I know, I sound crazy, raving about a snack, but you just have to trust me. It's so good that we tried our first bag and I literally went and bought boxes for our whole family and sent it to them on the spot.Yeah. Seriously. I'd give this popcorn 10 stars, if I could. If my review has helped you in any way, please let me know, or hit "Yes" under this review. Thank you! :)

good quality, good sourcing
i have moved away from microwave popcorn due to the reports of health impacts on plant workers due to the processing of the chemicals that are added to each bag and in the linings. I discovered that I love stove top popcorn and so it's been a few years since I had microwave popcorn. However I decided to give this product a try due to the sale price and the product claims that seemed to indicate a more natural process and ingredients. Great taste! the popcorn does feel like it has less "stuff" on it then I remember the name brand bags I used to buy. the sodium isn't too bad either. i think i still prefer stove top, but for popcorn in 3 minutes for those times when you just wanna snack, I can see these being a pretty good option.

Best popcorn ever!
This is the best popcorn I have ever bought. Little pricey but oh so darn good. The tip is to figure out the sweet spot with your microwave for the perfect bag, then drop it by like 10 seconds. Sure you may end up with more un-popped kernels, but the problem with microwave popcorn is that it gets nasty the longer it sits in there waiting for the other kernels to pop. Stopping it short and you get an awesome bag. The next key is to make sure when you add the delicious butter to the bag, that you shake that bad boy like crazy. I have several different shake patterns I employ to ensure I get ever piece of popcorn covered with this buttery deliciousness. Everyone in the house loves this popcorn. Get some and be happy!

Oh!!! What popcorn
Quinn's is the best popcorn I have ever had. The real butter, maybe so good since it was made with grass-fed butter, tasted soooo good. And it is eaten like popcorn is supposed to be eaten--with butter running down the side of one's hand (well, that's just my own preference!!). I usually have had the small bags of microwave popcorn from the local grocery, and they are fine, but now that a friend (a true friend indeed) has introduced me to Quinn's microwave popcorn,I feel spoiled. If anyone does not care to have that much butter, Quinn's has several variations to pick from. Also, an important note, their bags do not contain contaminants, so one doesn't have to even think about what might be leaching from the bag--nothing!!! Quinn gets A+ marks.

Awesome, but don't miss the separate butter packets at the bottom of box
Make sure to not overcook. I can only pop for 1:45 to avoid burnt spots. The first few batches I popped I was wondering why they claimed there was real butter in the mix. It was just plain popcorn. Then I saw the separate packets of butter that you're supposed to add after popping. Oops! Can't say enough about how great this popcorn is. The butter/sunflower mix gives the right amount of buttery flavor without turning the popcorn soggy. I'm a bit of a salt freak so I add some Himalayan salt to it to please my personal taste preference. I love how the lining of the bag is BPA free, and all the packaging is recyclable. Bravo Quinn Snacks, for your great product!

Just okay
Disappointing. First, the product I received has a "best by" date of only 5 weeks from the date I received it! That's okay if you only ordered one box, but 3 boxes is the minimum order. I'm a fan of Quinn microwave popcorn and have purchased their products in store and online (on their website and here on Amazon) several times and have never received items with "best by" dates that weren't at least several months out (not just a few weeks). Second, there wasn't enough butter to cover the amount of popcorn, and the truffle flavor was barely detectable. (If it tasted better, I guess the short "best by" timeline wouldn't matter as much, but I won't be gobbling this up.) So disappointing that I can't recommend this.
