Everything came well packaged, and nicely. Only problem I ran into was the bulk substrate already cut open! The seller sent a new one asap, 10/10 customer service! I recommend this to all growers.

The kit itself is great, my spawn bag is already colonizing faster than what I expected. The Monotub is extremely sturdy and a brilliant design. The best part is the price! As with all the other excellent Midwest Grow Kit products this new Grow Tub is awesome! I used 7lbs of substrate and 3lbs of colonized grains. This gives you a bit more surface depth than that of the typical 3” substrate thickness. I was not disappointed with the results! I love the design and the ability to stack bins which is a great feature. The grow bin is sturdy and super solid. I was so happy with the results from this monotub that I ordered another one today. If you’re a beginner or experienced mycologist this is a great option.

Very happy with this everything came packaged very nicely, big air cushions to prevent from breaking, everything looks double packaged and sterile which is huge in mycology, arrived very quick maybe 4-5 days, came with good directions and other information to refer to and has everything needed to get you started very happy already ordered another one..

The components of this kit are great but it is a gift so I don't know how well it will perform.

The casing layer introduced contamination.Everything went exactly according to the instructions until then.I am a well seasoned grower trying a product out and all precautions were taken. The only vector was the casing.I'd recommend sterilization to anyone buying this kit.Don't take it for granted that the seller adequately sterilized the medium and casing or containers and filters.Other than that, the kit is well built and seems great.

This tub is not worth it. Got it and there was a large crack in it. It's too small and the ports are too large. This company charges you $18 to return it! Worst experience I've had with mushroom growing!

bag got infected i was very sterile but just didn’t work out but everything else is nice just expect to buy sealed jars to inoculate your spores. don’t use the bag that is with this package
