Dead on arrival
I just got one, but the unit is dead on arrival.Absolutely nothing happens when I connect it to fully charged battery. The power led does not light up and the unit does not create a WIFI hotspot as it is supposed to.Another issue: The electronic manual is for a different variant of this product or the manual is very inaccurate. The power on/off button can be toggled on and off in contrast to what the manual says. And the reset procedure does not make sense, probably it should say reset button where it says power button. Regardless, no help to me in the manual, the unit is dead on arrival.UPDATE1:The manufacturer Vexilar replied very quickly and offered to fix the problem by sending a new unit ASAP. Normal procedure would have been to send the unit back to them for verifying the problem. They are not able to label the package with "replacement part free of charge" since the labels are printed automatically, so I may have to pay another tax.UPDATE2:The seller on Amazon replied in a few hours. They recommended to contact the manufacturer Vexilar directly which I already did.I will revise this text and star rating after I get the replacement unit.

Can’t get it to display on navionics, works on the sonar phone app but not on navionics which is the reason I bought it, I have now seen one post on a forum saying they are no longer compatible with the latest app version of navionics
