Nice when it works....which is rarely
Nice when it works. It needs full sun to work. Very expensive for what it is.

Great model
I got this model for my better half and I have to say initially I was disappointed when it arrived in a tiny little box, but after assembly it is really a lovely piece of engineering and large. If you have enough light on it the rotors spin very gracefully and silent. Indoor light is not very good unless you have a halogen bulb very close to it, it's best with natural daylight but once again it needs good direct sunlight to work. Other than that it is a lovely piece of kit.

Nice. But not what it seems.
I bought this as a sort of 'executive toy'. It is a very nice piece of kit. One thing though which i feel should be made absolutley clear. It is not all aluminium. The base is, the pole is, the motor housing is. The blades and blade mountings aren't, they are plastic, which detracts from it's overall appearence. If i had known at the time i would not have purchased. Suppliers need to be more accurate in their statments.
