I bought one of these and it originally didn't work to connect my MacBook Pro to my Thunderbolt display. I wrote a review, and SOPIII responded and offered to send me a new cable. I didn't even have to send the old one back. The new cable works perfectly. I would buy from these folks again for sure.

Material is tough and screen is very visible

It's hard to find a cable that supports these high charging and data rates that is longer than 3' (and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!). I suppose that justifies the stiffness of the cable. The readout is bright enough, and seems pretty accurate (don't have anything above 100W to test with).

I like how the cable itself feels study and engages the port firmly. Unfortunately it only lasted a few weeks using it on a Chromebook on a desk (pretty infrequent plugging/unplugging). The weak point is the USB ends: the metal connector on the end with the lcd is now loose and not making consistent connection. Very disappointing.

(However, just because it is thick and hard to bend doesn't really mean it actually is heavy duty,)Cons/Disappointments:*Does not actually support Thunderbolt. While the advertisement copy says it does support Thunderbolt, testing with a couple of Thunderbolt equipped Macintoshes showed that this cable does not support Thunderbolt. We have confidence in the test because other Thunderbolt cables from other sources DID work and pass this test.We also note that while the cable connector has markings indicating things that it does support. Thunderbolt is not one of the things listed. We saw no claims for Thunderbolt support on the cable or the packaging.Lots of resellers are selling what appear to be identical cables. One guess would be that these cables are being made by one or a small number of manufacturers, and that the resellers/importers, misunderstand what they are reselling, or that perhaps they misunderstand the relationship between Thunderbolt and USB-C?Since Thunderbolt is optional for USB4, it would seem that the E-marker chip, or some other part of this cable is not compliant with either Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4.This appears to be a nice USB4 cable, but without Thunderbolt support. We really did want a cable with Thunderbolt support, so the cable was returned.

It does what it says and it functions like I expect. I don’t have 2 USB 4.0 devices to test the full speed but I’ve gotten 3.4 GB/s out of it, which is plenty fast

Nicely made cable with a well functioning led display. Unfortunately, this cable is so stiff, it’s only worth using when you need a power measurement.

Cable is thick and has a nice reinforced shroud near the connector. Wished the cable was longer but I think that would reduce the max 40Gbps data transfer speeds. Works nicely for my prior gen USB-C needs as well.

Well built, display OK, went up to 140w the max capacity of my devices. Delivered on time as advertised

Con gli alimentatori dei cellulari da 15 w tutto ok, non appena ho acquistato un alimentatore da 140w si è bruciato e non funziona più dopo circa 1h di ricarica batterie del drone!

📦 El cable USB 4 de la marca SOOPII llega presentado en una pequeña cajita de cartón serigrafiada.⚙️ Tiene conectores USB tipo C en ambos extremos. Parece que cumple con la especificación USB 4.0, aunque realmente no esta certificado, pero admite la carga rápida PD de hasta 240W y unas velocidades de transferencia de datos de hasta 40Gbps, ademas de resoluciones de video hasta 8K@60Hz y 4K@144Hz.🏭 La calidad de su construcción y materiales es muy buena. El cable tiene una longitud de 1m, es relativamente grueso y se siente muy robusto. Lleva una cubierta de nailon trenzado de gran calidad que hace que sea resistente a roces y dobleces agresivos que podría terminar dañándolo con el uso. Aunque es un poquito rígido es lo suficientemente maleable para manejarlo con suficiente soltura. El cuerpo de sus cabezales es metálico, y se extienden con una larga manga de goma hacia el cable para hacerlos aun mas resistente a la tensión. Sus conectores encajan perfectamente y de forma firme en diferentes dispositivos y cargadores.🖥️ En uno de sus cabezales cuenta con una mini pantalla Led en la que nos informa de la potencia que esta haciendo uso durante las cargas de dispositivos, y resulta muy util incluso para saber cuando a finalizado ya que cuando no transmite corriente podemos observar que marca 0W. Si la carga se produce por PD (Power Delivery) tambien aparece reflejado. Me parece una magnifica característica y muy util que no es común ver en este tipo de cables.⚡ El cable tiene muy buenos tiempos de carga y grandes tasas de transferencia de datos. He realizado pruebas con diferentes dispositivos como tablets, smartphones, cargando alguna power bank y el resultado ha sido muy bueno y el esperado.✅ Es un cable muy recomendable y con un precio mas que adecuado. No lleva certificación como he comentado, pero por los resultados parece que cumple de forma correcta. Y un acierto lo de la pequeña pantalla Led, resulta muy practico.👍 Espero que esta pequeña revisión, comentarios y fotografías os haya resultado útiles y de ayuda 😇
