Great boards at a great price
I had never used this brand prior to buying even but had heard great things. They were right. Out of the box there was a few things I didn't like. The reflective tape was different colors on one of the boards and they don't match, the pad on one of the clips was messed up and I had to take it apart to realign it, and I had to adjust the tension on the front clip in multiple boards. Also the velcro for the lights definitely could've been put on with more attention to detail. With that said, the clips are really nice and easy to use, the amount of adjustability on the flags is awesome and they pull great. Easily the best bang for your buck on the market. I had birds prior to this and they were way worse. These are basically identically to the offshores. I actually like these clips better. You will not be disappointed in these boards at all. 100% recommend. Also they pull great at speed. Had them up to 3.5 mph with no issues.Update: 3 years later still running strong. I even pull up to 10 color lead core with them, in addition to dipsys and jet divers. Caught many kings with them. Best boards on the market.

best I've found
With my fishing partner we own four different brands of planer boards. One set out of China and two other "name brand" side planers besides these Gator brand. These are simply the best, fantastic release clips, ease of weight movement, flag operation, etc. Our next best are some no name boards out of China, but the shipping wait is long. We pull crank baits for crappie and with the lightest spring setting, we can pull deep divers at 1.3-1.8 mph and the flag will stay upright. However a small fish or a "swimmer" is hard to detect but that's true of all planer boards. We can run all four sets at once but it's tricky

Good boards
Works great! Pulls just as hard as my off shores and the larger clips work better once you learn to pinch them from the correct corners.
