The larger sized pieces are exactly what my giant breed teething puppy, Bramble, needs. She's a Caucasian Sheepdog, & at 4 months old she's almost as big as a fully grown German Shepherd already. I love it that some of these pieces are much larger pieces than other brands, but there are some small pieces too, which are not safe for my dog. Smaller pieces are disposed of, ever since my pup got excited & swallowed a 3 inch x 3 inch piece whole as soon as it was given to her (but that was another brand). Because my pup loves the taste of paddywack, I'd been searching since then for someone who sells much larger pieces, & after seeing the reviews about the larger size of these, l bought them & the larger pieces are perfect. No chance of swallowing those whole, & l always supervise her and replace them when they do get small. They are also moist with fatty bits on & have a slightly meaty smell, whereas other, much more expensive brands l bought were completely dried out, had no fat on, & didn't smell of anything. My pup loves these, she happily gnaws away at them for a long time & l will definitely be buying them every month from now on. However, she can't have the smaller pieces that were in the bag, so about a third of the amount in the bag have gone to waste, which is a shame. If this company sold bags of large pieces for owners of large dogs, & bags of smaller pieces for owners of small dogs, & specified the size (large or small) on each bag, l'm confident that they would get 5 stars from every customer review, because the quality of the product itself is fantastic.

My Bedlington is enjoying these although the pieces are extremely large and better suited to bigger dogs. They would be better half the size as it gets expensive this way. A bit more fatty than the photo suggests. However this is a good natural treat and lasts longdr than most chews.

My dogs too one sniff and weren’t interested. They are so hard for small dogs . Wasted my money...again

My dog really loves these treats but you need to hit them with a hammer to break them into smaller pieces.
