I'd been introduced to the Simpurity brand by my physician at a wound care clinic where I am receiving attention for some wound care issues on a leg. While I'd been impressed with their products, I'd struggled with a particular vendor my doctor sent me to and decided to turn to Amazon to see if I could find the products needed.This product arrived nicely packaged and in good condition. It's a box of 10 4"x5" Alginate Wound Dressings. They do not have silver, though the brand does offer that option. My doctor specifically wanted me to move away from silver and these fit my need perfectly.These have become my favorite brand. They perform consistently well by being absorbent, easy to apply, and easy to remove from the wound in one piece. They do not further re-traumatize my wound and while I have a slow healing wound I'm noticing obvious improvement.A couple of times, I've tried to save money with a different brand but I always come back to this one because it performs better and the result is undeniably better. The price point is a little bit higher than some other brands, but for me the results have easily justified the expense.I'm definitely impressed and will be turning to Simpurity first for my future wound care and bandaging needs. I've had positive results with three different bandage options under the brand and all have been positive. I most consistently use this one, the 4"x5" and they've worked beautifully on a consistent basis.

I have an open hole left over from my mastectomy that I have been trying to get healed/closed up for months.. It started about 1.5 inches across and .75 inches tall. I finally have it down to the size of a pea in part thanks to these pads. I was amazed at how fast the wound heals when using one of these pads along with my regular cotton gauze pad.

These dressings turned a severely oozing and bleeding burn around in 1 day. I'm a nurse and I was amazed. Absolutely no sticking but did aid in debridement. Pricey but worth it.

Great dressing for draining wounds, very absorbent. The very same bandage as I've had in the past from the hospital. Easily trimmed to size.
