Cracking little alert system .It's really for your shed or garage etc but my intended use is for a proximity alarm for when I'm fishing overnightTaking a lot of expensive gear with me I wanted something that will alert me and anyone around if someone has entered my area .After playing with this in the garden and in various angles and levels it works brilliantly and can be tailored to suit as in the alert sound and volume all changeable to your preference.It also has a vibration function to be alerted covertlyI would have preferred a black or green rather than white but that's just meGreat kit

I use this as a shed alarm and will use it in the camper when we b&b it in really cold/wet weather. The detector is in the shed and the alarm unit in the house. The remote control is kept by the back door which is supposed to remind me to switch it off before I go to the shed. Guess what? - the alarm gets tested regularly, which is why I like the great choice of alarm sounds. The 'intruder alert' vocal is a lot less annoying than the various sirens etc. As the alarm unit is in my house the regular 'alarm tests' don't wind up the neighbours.I like that the units can be run using standard usb power sources, with internal batteries as backup for power outages. Other than that, there really is no installation, you just place the three parts of the system where they will be most usable and effective.I have tested the alarm range at 50 metres not direct line of sight through a brick wall, and from 10 metres through three solid walls with no problems, so I would think the claimed range is probably right.Although it looks a bit cheap, I think the electronics in this are pretty decent. Several reviewers have mentioned that similar alarms can be bought more cheaply. Perhaps they are confusing it with detector and alarm systems in one unit. I couldn't find another system like this at anywhere near the price, and it comes with the option of using additional detectors.

Overall pretty good alarm, biggest issue I find is that to alarm the device by pressing the on button it sets the alarm off which is so annoying as it’s very loud so if your setting during morning or night it’s a huge problem and to stop the alarm by pressing off it turns it off completely therefore then needs to be turnt back on which will trigger the alarm, needs improving

No longer working worked for 5 weeks changed batteries tried everythingCan’t get hold of Amazon to return as this is no longer working

Works fine and very easy to use, very loud and worth the money , easy to install
