Sylvan Arms Laser Trainer installs in the chamber in less than on minute. The Laser Trainer Cartridge activates for 120 milliseconds when the firing pin strikes the cartridge. The cartridge is designed such that, the Laser Trainer Cartridge is not expelled during cycling, therefore allowing for malfunction training like tap, rack, bang or malfunction drills. A soft but robust rubber button on the laser serves as a built-in "snap cap" that will protect the firing pin. There are also two precision rubber 0-rings that ensure the proper fit to simulate bullet impact and unparalleled accuracy of training.
