Impressive sound, build and aesthetics! Full stars for Harman Kardon as always!
Superb sound (for the size of the speaker) and superb quality. Thunderous bass, very high quality sound. I use the "stereo boost" feature with two speakers and the result is just Impressive!!! The build of the speakers is high quality and they look so stylish. Big fan of Harman Kardon for many years, having purchased few of their house speaker systems (including some of the iconic ones). Battery life seems adequate, speaker is easy to use and connect to my mobile.

The Luna……
What to say…. Firstly I’d like to make it known I am no audiophile so won’t be waxing lyrical with technical knowledge. But I like to think I have a good knowledge. I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker to take with me whenever I go to Egypt. My Bose soundbar would to be big and heavy to take. So browsing Amazon on a cold London night. I came upon this the Harman/kardon Luna. I have heard of them before though they seem to have faded of late.So I suppose you’re pondering if you should buy this or not?Ok so let’s look at the designI love the design it’s aesthetically pleasing, small pill liked shape. It looks high end and feels it to. Not light but not overly heavy so it is portable. It does ooze class. It’s easy to pair as well so that’s a good thing. (Though it does not have an accompanying app)Sound qualityI love the sound this makes, for the size of it it does pack a punch. It has enough bass to it (tho maybe not enough for those bass chasers) you can’t play Around with the equaliser so you are kind of stuck with the default sound signature. (But for me that’s not an issue) is this the best ever sound you will ever get? No of course not. But within this price range you can’t expect it to be. But that’s not to take anything away from the Luna. It has a fantastic sound it looks elegant. I’ve had a few portable speakers throughout the years. This is probably in my top 5 favourites.CostWell I got this as like new for £114 at time of writing this it is £157. So not exactly within a budget range. So I suppose it depends what you want this for. A house party? Maybe not it’s loud and has good range but a house party might be too much of an ask.It connects easy and so far had no connection issues with it.I like the build quality it feels high end.So in closingShould you part your cash in the harman/Kardon Luna…. That is entirely upto you. I love it myself. It does what I need it to. To play music lovingly as i stroll through cairo. I hope this review is helpful.DisclaimerIf you buy this and end up hating it, please don’t blame me I’m just a reluctant reviewer trying my best to be a good reviewer 😃

2nd purchase because hell they link
2nd purchase because hell they link so you can make left & right sound kit on the go! Fantastic & nice loudness if you are doing as I do driving in a yard over industrial machinary levels of noise. Okay the 12hour lark is if you have it on low but six-eight hours at decent volume but not max is perfectly acceptable. =GunZenBomZ=

AMAZING SOUND
I previously owned a Bose speaker and loved it but I thought I would give this Harman Kardon Luna Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker a try this time and I am so glad I did - I am very impressed with the sound quality and the amazing battery life - I now have a new favourite portable waterproof speaker.

Good sound, but not great at low volumes.
Looks good, easy to operate, sound is good but if playing at low volumes it doesn't perform well.

Power is not RMS
I bought one as a canal boat system. It plays very well, so I bought another to gain stereo. I have to genuinely say that in a seven foot wide fifty foot steel tunnel the sound quality from one is great - expecting better from two. Harmon Kardon have never disappointed, and they haven’t this time.

Pretty good for the size.
Bought this to replace a Bose one that I’ve had 15 years and which finally died. I was reluctant to buy another Bose as they’re American and well - you know the current situation with tariffs etc - so I wanted a European brand. We have a Volvo EX30 that has Harman-Kardon soundbar in - and to be honest - that’s well - OK at best. Definitely not fantastic - so I was hesitant to buy this. But - I read the reviews and I’m glad that I did.I’m no hi-fi buff - but for a little unit - this has incredible punch. It’s crystal clear at the top with hi-hats and the like and quite impactful in base. Bit cluttered maybe with more complex music requiring some range.Whenever I get new headphones - I test them out with the same tracks and I did the same here. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue, LFO-LFO, QOTS - First it Giveth, and Johan Straus I - Radetzky-Marsch. I would say it favours jazz based on this test. Coped with LFO’s thundering bass no problem. Started to get a bit cluttered on the thrash/rock and classical - but still pretty dam good for a small speaker and overall an improvement on the Bose it replaced. I would definitely recommend and I may even get another to pair up two. I would say if you lean toward jazz, funk, soul and electronic - this a great buy. Rock and classical both probably need something that can cope with a bit more range maybe. My old Bose probably had the edge there. - but that was a bigger unit so maybe not a fair comparison.
