Katcha Bug x 2 - The original spider & insect catcher

The concept of these spider catchers is excellent. However this one has a handle that arrives in two pieces. When trying to shake a spider out through the window, the handle came apart and I lost one half of it in the garden! My original one of these had a longer handle which was just one piece, and it lasted me for years. I am now going to get some strong tape and try to stick the two parts of the handle together, and hopefully it will stop the same thing happening again.

Awful! I've only used it once but I unfortunately executed a Spider which is not why I bought it.The sliding door is too 'slidey' also, the actual enclosed Spider holding cell is way too small and the handle is pretty short.I managed to easily get a large Spider in the 'cell' but there wasn't much room for the poor thing to wait in and the door slid way too fast (and easy) and killed the Spider horribly... I've felt guilty all day!I think some design improvements are:- make the handle longer- make the catchment area larger to give the Spider more room to get in a safe place- add some string or equivalent to the far side of the sliding tray, that way the user can have more control of the slide of the door

This product was as I had expected as it was a replacement as I dropped my current one on a hard floor. I bought 2 so I can now keep 1 upstairs & 1 downstairs so I will have 1 to hand when required. This item can be used for all bugs, spiders, wasps & bees etc. Only yesterday a queen bee came indoors I only had to wait for it to land so I could place the catcher over the bee then I removed to the great outdoors with ease.

I now have one of these in every room,good quality good service .

Fantastic for catching flies and wasps

So easy to catch the bugs and release them outside. Much better than squashed ones!

Absolute must-have. Spiders and other small insects become so less scarey when you can catch them in one of these. I have 4 around the house!
