i add this to a simple hyaluronic acid peptide serum and they work great together.
I had discovered EGF through a different serum so that's why i jumped at the chance to try this. This is concentrated EGF (epidermal growth factor) that you can add to other serums. So it's not a serum on it's own, this is like an added ingredient. And i'm glad they mention it's use with microneedling because that's exactly what i use it for. After a microneedling session i add this to a simple hyaluronic acid peptide serum and they work great together.

Nice!
I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted to use this serum at first. Added to a niacinamide and hyaluronic serum I had good results. Seemed to be a good turnover similar to my results with retin A, but slower and less aggressive.I finally got a micro needle pen and my serum mixture is a great companion to it. The perfect serum for after I've used the pen.

Well this is an unfortunate finding….
OkayLike many of you I am always on a quest to maximize my skin care obviously signs of aging and it always look as beautiful as possible. I heard about this product before and didn’t actually know it was something I could purchase and then when I found it from this manufacturer, I was so excited, and I bought a bottle of it and I was thrilled. I’ve been using it alongside Tretinoin, Volufine , and other skin care. Now I admit when I first heard about this I didn’t do a lot a lot a lot of research but I was running out of some products and went to go buy some more and remembered the 500 Dalton limit which means that if a skin care product weighs more than 500 Daltons it can’t penetrate the skin barrier. And this has been tested again and again and again. So out of curiosity, I went to go look at the weight of EGF. And what I found was worse than what I could manage. The size of this is too large to actually penetrate the skin barrier… okay no biggie I can tell myself it works and keep using it.But then I kept reading and found more concerns. So apparently growth factors can block normal genes which naturally get rid of dead or dying cells.“Growth factors can also block the activity of certain protective genes whose functions are to “trigger” the death (called “apoptosis”) of damaged and abnormal cells before they can transform into cancer cells. Apoptosis is an important natural process in the body (and skin) for getting rid of aged, damaged and abnormally transformed (cancer) cells. Unfortunately growth factors can block this death process. While beneficial for cell proliferation, preventing cell death also allows potentially cancerous cells to survive.”So I read that and got a really concerned. But THEN come to find out that the stability of these molecules is VERY unstable which means if they’re exposed to water (like water in our skincare) or air they become useless. Growth factors are extremely unstable at room temperatures and are not even very stable at refrigeration temperatures. Many peer-reviewed scientific publications have studied the stability of different growth factors in various liquid solutions and at different temperatures. There are many more studies regarding growth factor stability, but the simple fact is that they are not stable when dissolved in water, which, of course, is a major component of any skin care cream or lotion. On average, the biological activity of any growth factor in water decreases by over 75% in just 24 hours at room temperature. In two days, the biological activity is essentially all gone. In fact, when scientists purchase purified growth factors from biochemical supply companies for research studies, the growth factors are shipped as a freeze-dried pellet (no water) and are shipped on dry ice. The instructions from the manufacturer typically state that when the growth factors are re-suspended in water or other medium, they will be stable for only 7 days and this is ONLY if they are stored in a refrigerator (below 39 degrees F).Some companies that sell skin care products containing growth factors claim that the growth factors in their products are stable, but unless the growth factor is somehow “sequestered” away from the water in these products (for example, placed inside a liposome or nanosome), it is extremely unlikely that they can retain their biological activity for even a day after manufacture. Companies that produce data showing that growth factors are still present in a skin care product months after production, are likely not measuring the “biological activity” of the growth factor (which tells you that the growth factor is still “active” and can work on target cells in the skin) but, rather, are just using an antibody that detects the presence of the growth factor protein, which may or may not be degraded and therefore inactive. So when thinking about the skin care lotion or cream sitting on a store shelf that has been manufactured somewhere across the country weeks or months before, and which has been shipped in a non-refrigerated truck for several days before reaching your office, what is the likelihood that the product has any ‘biologically active’ growth factor in it? Before purchasing any product containing growth factor, it is important that the sales or customer service representative that is selling the product show you science data that proves that the growth factors in their products are still BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE. Data that simply shows that the growth factor protein is still present in the product is useless because it doesn’t tell you whether or not the growth factor is still biologically “active”. It may still be there in the product in a degraded and useless form.So basically, let’s say you’re not concerned about the Dalton size and let’s say you’re not worried about cancer, the likelihood that this product is able to be stable enough to even be able to last is not possible, and unless the company is willing to post data showing their product is biological active after it comes to us and that it stays active we aren’t even at risk of cancer from this because it isn’t able to stay active. Now is my skin super soft absolutely! Is my skin bright and beautiful absolutely! Can I say it’s from this? No I can’t. I use tretinoin and other products that are designed to be able to take care of my skin as well, and so can I say it’s from this no I can’t and that hurts my soul because I was so excited when I discovered this because I felt like it was gonna be something that would help my skin but if it’s something that can’t even penetrate the skin barrier, can cause cancer, and or doesn’t even come to us active because it has an unstable shelflife then we’re just throwing money into something that’s been told to us simply because we all just want to stay beautiful. I will tell anyone reading this no matter if you have 14-year-old skin or 100-year-old skin you’re beautiful. But I understand wanting to keep that youthful glow.If you want to read the study on this I found that talks about this stuff then googleGROWTH FACTORS IN SKIN CARE PRODUCTS: ARE THEY BENEFICIAL? By DermaMedics and you can read it there.I don’t think we can post links here.

Works Well, Easy to Use
This Korean EGF Concentrate Serum arrived well-packaged and in good Condition in a small Dropper Bottle. Though Concentrate, the Serum is in Liquid Form, which makes it easy to add as Drops into any Skin Care Products. Personally, I hadn’t used this EGF Serum before; but I’m glad I did so I can add it to my Skin Care Products to get even better Results. I like that this Serum has not irritated my Skin. Overall, I like this Korean EGF Concentrate Serum.

Watered down for sure
I purchased this and returned it because I thought the bottle had been filled with plain water. It was so watery and no scent whatsoever. I purchased another and it was also the same. These bottles also were not safety sealed so I don't know what the deal is but this one is being returned and I will not purchase again.

Adding to my daily moisturizer
I use a hyaluronic acid moisturizer every morning and evening. I like how I can add a couple drops of this EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) Concentrate Serum) into products that I already have on hand. So simple and convenient!I haven’t been using long so I haven’t seen results yet. I have not experienced any negative effects either, which is great. I do sometimes have issues with my skin negatively reacting to new products. So far, so good with this Korean EGF concentrate.I think the price is very reasonable (assuming it will have noticeable benefits to my skin of course).

Excellent Method to Improve Beauty Regime
Although I’m no stranger to beauty/skin products, I am new to adding ingredients to my current regime in order to improve their performance. After doing some research, I discovered Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), which is gentler than retinols, is known to increase the stimulation of certain formulas. I added this to my retinol serum because I actually wanted to boost its performance. While too soon to see any real visible or huge results, I do like how much better my serum now spreads - it’s definitely thicker and creamier. I do feel it has increased its effect, although very small. Only time and consistent use will tell. My skin is mature and I’m able to tolerate more intense strengths of skincare - so I’ve not had any bad reactions to this EGF. I would recommend this for users with sensitive skin, but advising to try a skin patch test first. I’m happy to be trying this - it’s certainly opened my eyes to many new possibilities.

Watered-down
The serum is like water which makes it difficult to apply to your face. Which I don't like, because you waste so much.I did not notice any improvements.
