sturdy and looks good.Mine came assembled and didn't have any funny smells like the other guy did

Nice looking but ......
The screw holes for the base didn't line up with the holes for the stem but was easy enough to just force them into the wood. Also mine had slight mouldy / musty appearance as if it had been kept in damp storage . Looked ok Once I cleaned it up and looks good with 2 pair of headphones on it . Would look better varnished.
