Buckwheat cooking is delicious
I have tried most of the recipes and they have all worked extraordinarily well. Here is a picture of the buckwheat crackers. I served them with hummus one night and tamale pie the next.

it was ok... perhaps a little helpful
I expected a bunch of recipes with buckwheat as the main ingredient to assist me in my gluten-free and Paleo lifestyle. Unfortunately, many recipes also call for other grains, such as rice and quinoa, and for other flours and thickeners such as potato and can't ham gum. For me, those all contribute to my gluten reactions (read up on the newest research on tomatoes, rice and potatoes causing problems for us celiacs!). Anyhow, there are a few recipes I can use, and a few more with modifications I can try. This isn't a waste, as I can use the recipes as a launching point for figuring out others.

Cooking made easy with the right cookbooks.
Having help when you need it, do it digitally and never have to hunt online again.

This seems to be informative and the recipes look doable. Looking to get away from wheat so some of these will need tweaking.

Yuk.
I thought these recipes would cover up the horrible taste of buckwheat. No.

No images/illustrations
I was disappointed with the fact that there are no photos/illustrations inside the book, just the cover.the content is good though. Also its 'thin' book.

It has a variety of recipes and an interesting introduction
I Like the size of the pages and the recipes have a logical progression based on dish type. A total of 31 recipes for breakfast, main course, and dessert on 40 pages. Although the pages were not numbered, the recipes are and it is a simple addition to add the page number to the table of contents.Very happy to get this book within 5 days, it will save me a lot of experimenting in the kitchen.

nutritious & delicious
I most certainly didn't dislike anything about the book except that at 76 yrs old I knew it was healthy so I didn't need to know the basics. I absolutely LOVE Buckwheat flour. As a Celiac I make my own flours & breads etc..... so it's important to me to add buckwheat flour in "everything I bake" and anything I fry also. This book has wonderful recipes.

Not the best
The book is too big, and I was really dissapointed with the recipes. Not what I expected, which is a shame as there was an excellent opportunity to write the definitive buckwheat guide.
