Excellent for beginners
++ Would recommend to any beginner, or someone looking for a variety pack of basic paints ++I picked this for the variety of colors, metallic, primer, and wash to get started with mini painting. I also received an extra bottle of white and yellow paint of another brand, unsure if that is the "bonus gift" listed in the description, or if that is referring to the 5 miniatures it comes with.The included miniatures were easy to assemble, and an excellent way to test the paints and practice a bit before trying on any models like too much.

I'm a beginner and found this great.
These were my first five paintings of figurines ever. Tutorial and flexibility for inspiration are good. It came with two brushes that did the job except for the smallest details that I bought a separate brush. Took my first (the wizard) around 5 hours and then it went faster with each figurines with a 2.5 hours for the rogue. Overall great for the price, it leaves me with plenty paints to do more figurines.

Got me started!
Loved this set! Got me started in mini painting and has easy to interpret instructions to get started! Great value for what you get and the minis look great! The paint lasts a long time to!

Everything you need to paint those minis you said you were going to paint for the last 5 years!
Tons of beautiful paints and washes in this set to bring your minis to life. All the paints dry very well and the pigments are beautiful. The 5 minis that came with the kit are also a nice touch to try practising on if its your first time. Value for your dollar as this kit has so many colours you can branch out later if you need more but there hasn't been a colour i couldn't make yet with whats included.
