Vampire approved
If you want to see NO light from the outside world, and not risk frying your pasty white vampire skin, then these are your curtains. You needn't worry about being woken early by the rising sun after a long night of drinking either. Also velvety soft, and a perfect subsitute if your other cape is in the wash.

Actual Blackout Curtains without Linings!
I just replaced my homemade blackout curtains with these drapes and they are beautiful. Here's why:Our home faces southeast. Our bedroom windows are very tall. The two center ones (including the wall below the windows) measure 144" (12') and the side windows (including the wall below the windows) measure 108"(9') The longest drapes that I could find online were with this company and are 120", so I purchased one more packet of shorter drapes so I could create longer panels, plus I sewed two panels together for each side of the window to give it more fullness. It was not a huge project, like the original curtains I made years ago. I chose dark brown as it's the same color as the previous ones and fits our lodge decor. When shut, they really DO block out sunlight. They slide very smoothly on the rods which, when you consider we're pulling panels that are 8' wide by 12' high, that's pretty remarkable. I purchased the decorative ribbon through Amazon to cover the seams and they add a nice decorative touch to the top. These drapes are a GREAT value for the money. I easily spent over $1000 for the fabric and lining for my previous drapes. I couldn't believe what a good deal these would be. They give you simple directions for getting the wrinkles out which works like a champ. I like to read reviews before I buy anything online, so if you're like me, I think you will be very pleased with the quality of these. And if you're lucky enough to have standard sized windows where you don't need to sew anything together, even better!

The best black outs. Best price.
The absolute best black out curtains I have ever bought. Much thicker than past ones I have bought. Though they have no added backing. The material is thick and somewhat heavy. They are simple in style. Great for a modern or Industrial look. Or where you don't desire too much fuss. I plan to add a valance at top and sheer drapes behind them to add a few inches to the bottom since I bought mine a bit short. And to give a bit of flare and layered look at bottom. I used long hooks with the grommet holes. Looks better and makes opening easier. Especially when I will be opening and shutting them often. Mine are hung above french doors. You can't go wrong. I couldn't see inside after testing them at night. Now I feel more privacy. Very afforadable price. Better than more expensive ones. Better than my 100 dollar curtain pair. I will buy more when needed.

Wonderful drapes
I was more than a bit nervous about purchasing drapes online because you never know if your computer is displaying the colors correctly (or if the merchant is showing an accurate picture) and too I'm very picky about fabrics; how they feel as well as how they hang, but I took the plunge and purchased these for our master suite. I purchased the beige and they are a true beige leaning more toward yellow tint than brown which worked out fine with my current bed linens/comforters/pillows, etc. They have a very plush feel to the fabric. As far as wrinkles, I put them in the dryer with a clean, damp wash cloth on wrinkle release then took them out promptly and hung them (as directions stated) and they were fine. They fall just like in the picture. I purchased the 96" ones so they are heavy, but if you have a good drapery rod, you should be fine. I believe because of their light color, they're not true "blackout" curtains, but they do darken the room quite a bit. Overall, I'm very pleased with the way they look and for the price - this really beats the Bed/Bath stores.

FANTASTIC product for great price
Very elegant! I got the navy blue 108 in length, which you CAN NOT find anywhere for less than a million dollars. These look very expensive and feel like quality. They are a polyester blend of some sort, but look like a super dense silk. I have an east facing window that gets the morning light and a west facing window that gets the afternoon heat. It helps with both issues immensely. I LOVE them!!! I would absolutely buy them again!

High Quality Fabric
I had previously purchase a pair of black-out drapes from a local retail store and didn't notice until hung that they had navy on one side and white on the other...and were so stiff. When outside looking at the house it appeared I had hung sheets in the window, lol. I returned them and decided to take the sight-unseen risk and buy these based on the other positive reviews and so glad I did. The hand of the fabric drapes so nicely, and the quality of the material is really nice. I also bought 2 panels of navy sheers and put them in the middle for added contrast on the window. Very pleased--don't hesitate. I also wanted a deep dark navy (hard to tell the true shade online) and they are just perfect.
