Fiddle Kit - 3 Genuine Tangles

These arrived today. I've yet to show my 9 year old daughter them but she was the one who picked them out on Amazon after we were looking for fidget toys that she could use especially at school. She has eczema so gets quite itchy and has also developed a picking habit due to her eczema and if she is stressed/anxious or bored or even talking she will scratch/pick more. We tried blue tack for her & it worked very well & we noticed a massive improvement with her skin having something to fidget with and a reduction in picking and scratching but it kept getting sticky & ending up in her hair. She has a fidget dice but she finds it boring. I'm quite a fidgety person and I really like these. They twist and turn through and around your hands and fingers and feels quite nice and smooth. They have connecting parts that you can disconnect and put together again but they are slightly stiff taking them apart and makes a loud clicking sound so I don't think she'd be able to do that in class/assembly as it might be distracting to other students. I will update once she has tried them out as these could potentially be really good for those who have eczema etc and find it hard to resist urge to scratch and pick.

These are very addictive! My son has one at home, 1 in the car and has taken 1 to school. It stops him poking other children and holds his concentration on the test her as he's not looking round the room looking for something to do or someone to annoy!! Would recommend for any other ADHD/Aspergers children or even adults! Handy to keep in handbag too for waiting at dr surgery etc

This simple piece of plastic is incredible when it comes to keeping young hands occupied so that the equally young mind is able to focus on learning as well as knuckling down with tasks that do not immediately appeal. I rotate these three in my class of 17 (I know, I need to get some more!) and I can follow their way around the room as where these 'tangles' are, that is where the absolute quiet spots are! :-)

Product arrived promptly and my son liked them, however for him they ended up being a bigger distraction than when he is constantly fiddling with a ruler or a spare pencil whilst writing, etc. Being able to play with them turned them into a toy rather than a concentration enhancer, but it was worth a try. He is 11.

Helped my grandson and me to stop biting our nails. He was helped with the promise of money and one of these. I just had one of these and it helped kick a 60 year habit!

Good set, have bought several of them. Other suppliers provide larger packs which are helpful if you have more than one child. Great occupier for children who have short attention span and are easily distracted. Good to keep hands occupied when watching TV or when they need to sit still
