Two Stage Filtering and drying
I have this unit in service ahead of a spindle that requires cooling air. This unit does a great job cleaning and drying the air before it heads into my very expensive piece of equipment. Easy to see if the desiccant needs to be changed, and easy to adjust the regulator. Great unit for the money.

Very nice filter/drier
I recently upgraded from an old Husky 20 gallon 110v unit to a new Dewalt 60 gallon 2 stage 220v unit.No longer running a small filter/regulator that just leads to a single hose. New setup is 3/4" airline through the whole shop and I wanted an appropriate sized unit.Pro'sAlloy construction, 3/4 in and out, easy to drain water trap and easy to see condition of the desiccant, and it included an extra filter and extra desiccant.Con'sI found the pressure regulator a bit difficult to use the first time. It was cranked so tight I thought it was defective at fist. I ended up accidentally removing the adjuster/seal/spring trying to figure it out. After that initial confusion, aired it up and everything was good to go.This is an absolute must to protect your air tools at home. I would suspect that this filter is 95% the air quality as the expensive name brands. If using in a production environment, I would maybe check it a little more frequently for the first few months to make sure, and you can always use the desiccant from your auto body supply store.I would have no issues running this unit to my paint booth in a small to medium sized shop.

Robust/industrial 3 stage filter and desiccator!
I have a small air compressor that has been well used and I was starting to see the impact to my air tools of rust and moisture in the system. I added this in line with my current filter system as a way to improve the moisture reduction in my lines. I also look at this as an opportunity for upgrading my current air compressor. This thing has done an amazing job of reducing the moisture in my lines. I can feel a big difference when I just blow air and I can see the filter picking up the rust from my old compressor. This is definitely a bigger system then I need but I couldn't find a good 3 stage with desiccator like this system. This system is going to improve the longevity of my current air tools and expand my ability to do some small paint jobs.

Looks great so far, can't wait to permanently install it for regular use.
Anyone who uses an air compressor knows how moisture can condense in the compressor's tank and air lines. Perhaps in climates with low humidity conditions it isn't much of a problem, but in humid areas like here in Southern Florida where I live, it can create significant problems when using the compressed air for certain tasks: notably for powering paint sprayers, plasma cutters, or for powering a sandblaster. I cut down on the moisture a to a degree by using a fairly large single-stage air dryer that used a desiccant to dry the air. The problem was that the desiccant doesn't last too long before getting waterlogged. Plus it doesn't remove ALL moisture, so for example the consumables on my Plasma Cutter don't last as long as they should. When I saw this MEANLIN 3-stage air dryer I thought it would be a good idea to add this to my system to not only dry the compressed air better than my single-stage desiccant tank, but to help the desiccant last longer as well. Based on what I saw in the product ad and the instruction manual, it looks like the filter dries the air primarily by passing it through two fine filters with decreasing pore sizes (5 micron and .01micron). The water drops into the collection cup and can be expelled by pressing the manual valve buttons on the bottoms of the cups. After these two stages, the air passes through a Dessicant filter which should remove the remaining moisture from the air before it is routed to the tool.Although I have not had time yet (and probably won't for a while) to mount the system to the wall near my compressor, I do have a good impression of this system based on visual observations. First of all, it is very solidly built, and the three filters' housings are easily removed and reinstalled as they have bayonet mounts vs. screw on. The first stage has an air regulator with an adjustment knob and pressure gauge, which right away is a good thing as I can now eliminate the regulator which I currently use which is kind of a "cheapie", plus it's paired with an oil injector which I don't use. The input and output air ports are a larger bore than the standard 1/4" commonly in use (I got the 1/2" size, but 3/4" is also available). This helps to reduce impeding the air flow. The kit comes with male and female quick connectors to convert the 1/2" to 1/4" to allow easy plumbing into existing equipment. There are a couple of 1/2" male to male connectors included also to that end.Besides the filters that are already pre-mounted in the first and second stages, the kit includes one spare filter of each size. Also included are four bags of desiccant for the third stage, as well as a roll of Teflon tape and an instruction manual. The manual mentions filter stages before and after the three-stage set, but these additional stages are not included.

Lack of Quality Control
I purchased 2 of the 1/2 four module offerings. Quality Control was Non-Existant over them. When I put the units together, I found multiple air leaks, and these had obviously never been tested at the factory. The biggest leaks were in the sight windows. What I I initially thought was writing on the inside around the screws was actually stress cracking. The fasteners were put in too tight (maybe someone using an impact driver on something with a sensitive torque limit?) on both units and had fractured the windows. Air was coming out of several modules in both sets. I think the entry port on the regulator was slightly overbored and might have been leaking but it's really hard to tell with how much air was blowing around. The quick connect coupling was total garbage, but I'm assuming most people wouldn't be using that one, anyhow.I had previously purchased the 3/4 version, and returned it because it's really just a 1/2 version with an overbored entry/exit. That provides no real benefits over the 1/2 for airflow, etc., and just prevents you from changing modules later, etc. Avoid that version, too!

Great addition
This is a great addition to an air system. I got this for my plasma cutter because of the high demand. So far it has been working great. I haven't had any noticeable water getting by. I have had nice clean cuts since installing it. The price is a lot cheaper than what I've seen at local stores. Overall it's a good buy, and with the extended life of your air tools ( by not getting water in them) , it'll pay for itself.
