Best pet nail grinder for the $$, Shiba Inu approved
I researched for two days searching for "the one" nail grinder, so I purchased this with my eyes open. Initially, I checked the charge level after opening the box and the blue light came on in 5 seconds and stayed for 30 seconds, so I thought "Great, it's pre-charged!" Just as I'm starting to get my 5 y.o. Shiba used to this and everything is ready, I turn on the device, a very quiet sound hums and then dies just as I start her mani-pedi. I had an Armageddon flashback when the space station is about to blow up, "NOOOO!"The instructions state a 2 hour charging time, nyet, it was more like 3.5 hours and I start to think the lights are backwards, red means go, blue means no. Round 2 of the mani-pedi goes off without a hitch with the exception that we aren't outside with a gentle breeze to blow away the nail dust that is created by this dream of a tool. Apparently there was enough juice from the 3 hour charge that it allowed me to finish all of her claws and still had plenty left over.My dog is very skittish about anyone touching her paws, but she loved that her nails weren't going to the groomer to get clipped again (they hit the quick on each one last time). I am a very happy fur-baby mama so the only thing this is missing is a little light to give better illumination as to what you're doing and a hint about pre-charging. Highly recommended nail grinder for all pet owners.

Finally!!!
Trying to cut my poochies nails was always a fiasco. They hated the clippers I used and would bolt from the room when I would bring it out. I was lucky if I got one paw done. Chasing them around the house was NOT pleasant for anyone. It took about three times for my dogs to settle down with the nail grinder but now I get everyone done and we're all happy. Thanks Presto Paws for a great product!

Great Buy!
Great buy. If your dog is scared of the nail clippers (like mine is). This is the way to go. The sound is not loud at all (for dogs that are skiddish of noises, like mine). Works great!

I love this mail grinder
I love this mail grinder. My dog stays calm while I groom his nails due it being a fairly silent tool. I only wish the charge would last longer than a few nails. I compensate by plugging it in and then doing his nails. Works great and my Boxer mix is not afraid anymore! Thanks

Doesn’t Hold a Charge
This is a pain to keep charged. You have to charge it for several hours, then use it right away, because the charge then rapidly fades to nothing. You can’t keep it plugged in to keep the charge up, so you have to plan ahead
