Stainless Steel LCD Refrigerator Thermometer - Fancyus Freezer Thermometer with High Low Temperature Alarm

The alarm feature seems to lack instructions for how to set it up. Fortunately we do not need it. Due to the nature of the display it cannot be seen from sharp angles or in dark light and every time you press a button you get a very annoying and loud beep.The probe wire is long and seems fairly waterproof so it has uses outside of just a fridge, I have one in a fish tank and the other in a vivarium. They seem accurate enough. They agree with one another and with other thermostats to within 1 degree.

Well made and mostly well designed. One irritating feature is that there is no “down” button to set the alarm temperatures. If you go too high you have to keep going up until the setting cycles around to zero again. This took a little while to work out. Placed in a door compartment this makes a useful door alarm

A bit fiddly to set the alarms on - needed a bit of guesswork around the instructions - but works nicely and seems to match another thermometer’s displayed temperature that I already had.Seems to work just fine in our freezer.

I had a real problem programming this unit. My son tried who is a computer programmer and even he could not make it work. Reads the temperature OK but that is about it.

Alarm function does not work. Plain thermometer function works fine (room/fridge), however alarm function doesn't work - once set (eg <4ºC), alarm not triggered upon 'testing' at room temp. Strong magnet, attaches to fridge well. AAA battery not included.
