Ben 10: The Complete Series [DVD]

Not only excellent value providing hours of pleasure, but a really pretty box set with hologram on the top and a picture spanning the back of all twelve volumes.All three of my children love Ben 10 from 3 to 10 and it's simple harmless stuff.It's good versus bad and good wins. A boy with a marvelous watch that turns him into powerful aliens saving the world from aliensThe bad guys usually run away or see the error of their ways rather than being killed, and it's more monsters crashing into buildings rather than kicks and punches.One really interesting aspect is that Ben starts quite young and gets older through the series, becoming less cocky and more thoughtful which prolongs the interest in the later series quite nicely. The aliens change too.There are some annoying wise-cracks but not as annoying as most, sound quality is good and the animation although not to the standard of something like Samurai Jack, isn't too bad either.For £22 this is really amazing value.

I've been trying to get hold of a complete set of Ben 10 for some time, so I was delighted to find this.This for anoraks like myself and my son who love this series.The box presentation is excellent and more robust than most, with a lenticular hologram on the front show Ben changing into four-arms.Every episode of the original series is included (including vs The Negative 10 Pt 1 & 2).There are also some special features included on disc 2.The quality is excellen,. my only crit would be that there are slightly long blank intervals in the episode as if that was where the ad breaks should be inserted.There are 12 disks in total (shame they couldn't have made it 10 !!) and the spines of the disks form a picture of Ben when placed in order.

My 6 year old son got this for Christmas and to be honest it hasn't been far away from the DVD since. The cartoon is in glorious 4:3 aspect ratio - whilst my TV compensates for this my laptop computer doesn't. There is nothing too scarey in here and whilst some of the episodes do feel like filler, most of it is really well done for a young childrens cartoon adventure. The adventures of Ben, Gwen and Grandpa are good clean escapist fun, ocasionally there are some less than subtle messages in there, but usually it's high tech advanture all the way. AND THEN THERE ARE THE ALIENS......Children and especially boys love Ben 10 and here you have a whole lot of him. Everything from the original run of the series is here and my son's favourite is "The secrets of the omnitrix" special.

Good value box set, and an easy way to get all the original series without buying seperate volumes.My son loved it as a christmas present.

After reading the other reviews it helped me make my mind up to purchase this box set. My eldest is Ben 10 crazy and loves these DVDs, which we got for his 4th birthday. They are an excellent price. To buy them individually is madness as they will cost a fortune (even if you can get them at £4.99 each, which I can in a local shop). A must for Ben 10 fans and a bargain for their parents.

My son loved this, not only did he get all the Ben 10's in one package, it also comes in a fantastic box with an alien that changes depending which way you look at it. He couldn't wait to show his friends and it's a win win because the DVD's don't end up spread around the room and it's very good value.

I ordered wat I thought a bargain boxset but I believe now was never even sent off as they put on for the wrong price I wasn't given a tracking num and wen I asked cud they track it they haven't even checked! I looked at the information they give about postage see if I could try myself and it said they tell u if it's going to be late or anything they tell you so I no it full of **** and said they wud just refund wat a joke it was for my sons birthday that is in 2 day coz it took that long to come to the date it was due n to try find out wat happened I'm not going to have the time to order this new and will have one unhappy son on his birthday DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM let down :(
