Floats McGoats Board Game | Build a Raft & Save Your Goats | Perfect for Family Games | 2-4 Players, Ages 10+

We bought Floats McGoats for our son's birthday, and it very quickly became a family favorite! It's different than any game we've had before, so it's a nice addition to round out a collection. It is very uncomplicated to learn how to play, but has enough room for learning strategy that it won't quickly get old. Both our 9yo and our 12yo love it, and I genuinely enjoy playing it with them (which I certainly can't say about every game we have!). It's constructed with quality materials too, so I can definitely see giving this game as a gift to lots of people!

We like to play a few games at a game night and this is a perfect game to kickoff the evening, something pretty simple but fun and competitive. We ended up buying this as a gift for another friend after playing with others.

My nine-year-old and I have such a great time playing this game together. It moves at a good pace and the games don't last too long, and as you play you start to realize there's good strategy to be learned. The board and parts are high quality, the goats are very fun as play pieces, and they stack which is really cute and clever. There is also a YouTube video that teaches you how to play, which makes it even easier to learn.

My 10 year old and I play games together, and we love games that are easy to learn but allow for strategy and complexity when playing. This game is well designed and the rules only take 5-10 minutes to learn. Our first game was just about learning how things work and was fun already, and by the second game things got more interesting.

This is a unique strategy game. It has some of the territory-capturing elements of Go, but added complexity in the form of different characters, a build-as-you-go 2D geometric structure, and multiple available actions. It takes only a short time to learn the game mechanics, but it can take a long time to become adept in the game strategy.

Got this for a gift and it was a hit. Easy to learn and not a long time commitment. Hilarious concept with the shark attacks, goat love and goat fighting. Have not yet played the team version but looking forward to it.

We were looking for a fun game for our 10 year old granddaughter’s birthday. So glad we chose this game, as she absolutely loved it!
