Tastes great but used amount in recipe and came out dark purple almost look chocolate.

I love this purple sweet potato powder. The fact that it's all natural without all the additives. The color is vibrant and beautiful. The plastic, screw lid container is nice and keeps it fresh. I've added it to cakes and it provides the color without changing the taste. Great stuff!

Well..it finally arrived in a soft paper envelope badly dented! I had to transfer the fine powdery purple contents, losing a bit in the process. Container was rather thin metal. Once opened I could not replace the plastic lid as the canister was so easily bent further out of shape while opening it. I have only added it to soup once so far. Contents does have a pleasant sweet potato taste!

I used this purple potato powder to make ube mochi pancakes. It worked well for that. I like the purple color. This powder is sold by weight and not volume.

I’ve recently been on a ube kick and experimenting with making things with it. So far, I’ve made an ice cream, cupcakes, and smoothies. Between having a halaya, extract, and this powder, I have been trying out which ones or which combinations work best for things.
