Very sturdy case
There are lots of connecting parts in this set. I like how much it includes. They are easy enough to put together that our 4 yr old can do it himself. The case is really nice. The fasteners are sturdy and the box itself is to.These have been great for lessons and also just to play around with with the smaller kiddos. It's nice to have around

Creative educational tool
This is such a cool idea. Kinda like a puzzle but a really neat way to visualize the elements and seeing how things come to and fit together. Tangible way to work with science instead of book or video. I love this creative technique of learning. What a great little box of learning. Perfect for homeschooling family who are on the go.

Excited for a more hands on approach
use this to gain a better understanding of chemistry, that’s what I’m using it for atleast. The parts are fairly easy to snap onto each other, personally though I wish it had like a manual for what’s what. Example: is the smaller white one an electron? What does the black one mean? What do the other colors mean? Stuff like that.

Great educational gift
Useful chemistry model set for hands-on learning, though lacks guidance on identifying the molecule pieces. Easy assembly but manual explaining the parts would enhance educational value. My 2nd kids love it so much. He is very into periodic table so logically this is the next toy to gift him.

Disappointing. No instructions or explanation of any kind.
I was excited to receive this set for my science-loving son. However, it came with no instructions or paperwork whatsoever. Not even a list of parts. Nothing. It's includes a latching plastic container with plastic pieces that can supposedly be made into molecular models. Maybe if you already know how atoms are supposed to fit together to form molecules, this could be a helpful set. We will have to find a book or online info to show us how to assemble these to look like molecules. The plastic model pieces seem moderately well made, but I would not call them high quality. Some are a little tight and more difficult to attach and detach, but overall they do fit together reasonably well. I'm sure my tinkerer son will enjoy building random things with them, but I'm not sure how much this will actually help him understand molecules. The storage container seems to be sturdy, and all the pieces fit easily inside. There is a large barcode sticker on the outside of the container that leaves a very sticky residue I will have to work to remove.Bottom line: If you know how to assemble molecular models and just need the parts to do so, this might be a good set for you. If you do not already know how to do this and need any kind of instructions at all, look elsewhere. For this price point (approx $20 at time of review), I expected more. I wouldn't pay more than half that much for what I received. I'm giving this set 3 stars because the pieces do fit together fairly well, despite there being absolutely no educational value unless you find an outside source of information on how to assemble molecular models.
