Worth their weight in gold
Works great! Best cam style strap on the market. Set your hooks throw strap over the load and give the tail end a yank and that strap is not going to move.

Excellent for Kayaks, but a bit pricey
I bought these specifically to haul kayaks on top of my car, and they are a massive improvement over standard ratchet straps. Previously, I used traditional ratcheting straps, but I always worried about overtightening them or having them rattle loose during the drive. These TorkStraps are much easier to use because you don't have to fight with a jamming ratchet mechanism. The best feature is the "flex" in the strap—because of that dynamic tension, they stayed firmly in place and kept the kayaks much more secure than the rigid ratchet straps ever did. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the price is kind of high. However, they do secure the load much better than the cheaper alternatives, so they are likely worth it if you haul often.

Might literally be the best thing ever
Without going to extremes, this may be the absolute best invention that civilization has ever created. It's very sturdy, works well, and is so much easier and quicker than ratchet straps.

No slack
Excellent product. Secured a 10 foot ladder in a 5 foot truck bed without loosening at all. Highly recommend.

So easy to use!
I got these to mount a ruffland kennel in my car. Usually when I'd travel and move my dog's kennel from car to car, it would take me forever, with lots of sweating and cursing. Now it takes me 30 seconds, if that. I didn't know it could be this easy!! Seriously, life changed. These seem very durable, like they'll last a long time. The self tensioning works amazingly, and there's no slipping or worries it'll loosen. Absolutely worth the money! This is the kind of technology that really makes a difference in your day to day life.

Very good, with a couple caveats
First, TorkStrap tie-downs do exactly what they're advertised to do: they maintain tension on the load in pretty much every situation. They are easy to use and easy to adjust, and they don't work loose. That said, they do have a couple of cons. The most glaring is they are not as abrasion-resistant as most other straps out there, so if you've got sharp edges or rough edges, use something to protect the straps or you may find them worn nearly through when you arrive. The second (minor) issue is that by their nature they are not as easy as other straps to roll up for storage, taking more time and care and usually needing some kind of wrap or tie to keep them rolled uip.

Self tensioning works
Very easy to use. Works great. Secured my motorcycle to hitch carrier in an awfull snowstorm through Wisconsin and Illinois. Front wheel of bike must have had 30 pounds of ice/snow packed into it...still remained stable
