After a lot of research, I chose this version of an acupressure mat, partially because of the eco awareness of the company, and the sustainable nature of the components used in producing it(also the fact that they plant trees). It appears very well made, and I am pleased with my choice. The mat is a nice thickness, and large enough to be comfortable for my husband. The biggest caution is getting properly arranged on it, as the spikes are very sharp, but once in place on your body, are not uncomfortable. I get a sharp sensation, followed almost by an itchy one, and then settle in. I would highly recommend wearing something very thin until you get used to the feeling, however, both my husband and I find we must still wear thin socks to stand on it as it is just too intense for the bottom of our feet. We are still learning the various ways to use it, but so far, here is what we have found: 1. I don't sleep well, and if I lay on it for 10-15 minutes before lights out, I am able to relax, fall asleep, and fall back asleep fairly quickly if I get up in the night. ( I DON'T sleep on it)2. Increased energy - standing on it for about 10 minutes really seems to help us feel better and more motivated to get out of our chairs. (Pandemic has caused some moping after almost a year of lock-down).3. Lower back pain - Seems to give some relief, but experimenting with this one.This is our first week, so still newbies, but overall very pleased.

I have chronic pain in my leg from a hip injury.I have tried everything to help ease the pain and to just be comfortable everyday. I read many positive things about acupressure mats so I started my research and found my way to Ajna. I loved that this mat is made from eco friendly better for you materials, loved that I can take the cover off to wash and it looked very sturdy and well made!I purchased the mat and pillow set in natural and it is so beautiful. I used it immediately and sat with the mat under my leg for about 30 minutes. My pain was gone and stayed gone for many many hours. It was unreal. Wish I had found this beautiful product years ago! I have also been using the pillow, with a muslin swaddle blanket over it, durning my toddler sons tele-therapy and homeschooling to see if it would help with his sensory needs, which I think it definitely has. Another amazing use for this set. My husband also started using it and now wants his own set! I am sitting with the pillow under the small of my back as I write this review. Not only does it feel amazing, the pillow has a calming and not overpowering scent of lavender which I love. I raved to my sister all about this gem and she immediately ordered one for herself. I was a little skeptical before I ordered but this has changed my life.

I really like the Ajna mat! It's both practical and beautiful.

I have been using this mat for several things: shoulder/neck pain and stress relief. I pull it out right before bedtime and lay on it for about 15 minutes. It leaves me somehow feeling calm and refreshed. It only feels pokey for about a minute or so, and it really doesn't hurt that much even in that moment.

As others have mentioned, the flowers were not as pictured. I reached out to the company to be sure I hadn’t received a fake and they explained that flowers like the ones on the mat I received (see attached picture) are their new design. They also mentioned that the Sage colored mat included in this listing has the original design and provided a link for the related pillow which is sold separately. So if you are wanting to original design of the flowers that is how you would go about getting it.The quality is impeccable. The materials used are as described with the coconut fiber inside the mat itself and buckwheat with lavender in the pillow. I love how amazing the pillow smells and the mat does what I was hoping it would. I even fell asleep on it it for a little bit because was so relaxed.

I love this little mat and pillow. It really does help with back pain relief. I work with children and my back will often hurt at the end of the day. Laying on this helps my back muscles to release and relax. I also love the way the pillow feels on my head. I usually lay on the mat while wearing a thin t-shirt.

So far this mat is so amazing. The first time I tried it, I wasn’t sure I’d like it b/c the sensation is so weird. But I crave those spikes now. I find it relaxes me anytime of day and I can move the pillow around to hit my head, neck, shoulders and sometimes I put my feet on it while sitting. The mat has a light lavender scent that is pleasant, not sure how long that will last. The spikes and mat are solid, feels like a quality product. The only issue for me is that it doesn’t hit my low back as much as I’d like but that’s just my back shape so I have to figure that out. Otherwise it’s a great relaxing tool to have in your toolkit!

I so want this to help me, I've used it two weeks straight. I have severe, chronic back pain, constant neck pain, headaches and Fibro. I tried with a thin shirt the first time and your really don't feel anything wearing a shirt. Then my 15 pound dog layed on me, that helped with the extra weight. I then used directly on my skin, you do have to be very careful and lay down slowly. Once you've adjusted, it's not that bad. I lay on it about 30 minutes, hoping for maximum benefit.I'd say getting up is harder as you need to move slowly as the spikes release from your body. Now that hurts, then it feels itchy for about 10 minutes or so - it must be sending some blood flow. I'm just not getting relief at this point, I may need longer than others because of the amount of pain I have. I only use once a day, right before bedtime as that's just the easiest way for me. I'll continue to try it, if things get better, I'll come back and update

Highly recommend. This mat was a Godsend for me. Traveled via truck & trailer across Canada and back this fall. Leaned against, sat on, slept on this mat all the way there and back. I have had neck and back surgery and do have a lot of related pain. This mat has been excellent for me! Definitely 5 stars
