This is a full 8 oz bottle of ITCHY & DRY SKIN RELIEF. This bubble bath is a staple to have on hand for anyone who has ever had poison oak, poison ivy, a bug bite or suffers from psoriasis and eczema. I have added fresh ground oats, a touch of honey and ricebran oil. I have also added some ground sea salt. A very soothing bubble bath. Some herbs will thin my liquid soap base down. I never add additives to fix that issue as I don't find it necessary. This soap is medium thin. You will have to shake this product before each use because of the huge amount of oats I have used do settle. I make no medical claims of course because I am only a doctor of mother medicine. Use one tablespoon per bath under running water as my bubble baths will bubble quite well, even the thin ones. If you have a jacuzzi tub, start with only 1/2 tablespoon. Hundreds of years ago, people believed that the benefits of honey can not only be enjoyed by taking it in but also using it on the outside. Many legends give credit to honey as being a great concoction in keeping hair thick and shiny. Some give credit to honey for their blemish-free skin. But looking at honey scientifically, it is known to have antimicrobial qualities. It is a humectant which means it attracts moisture to itself. In the world of cosmetics, humectants are great additives to products such as soaps, lotions, and scrubs. Oatmeal's long been a staple among skin pros -- even ancient ones. Its skin-soothing powers were known as early as 2000 BC, and to this day, the FDA cites it as effective for relieving dryness and inflammation, including insect stings, rashes, and eczema. That's why finely powdered ("colloidal") oatmeal is sifted into soothing body soaks, moisturizers, and soaps. (Pulverizing the oats into powder makes it easier to disperse their healing goodness -- and in soaks it keeps them from collecting in the bottom of the tub.)
