Great product but be careful when fitting the black
I can only give 4 stars for what is an excellent product. All of the inks work perfectly and give a good colour printout. The only mark that I can knock off is for the fact that when changing the large black cartridge I got my hands covered in ink. Whereas with other supplies previously there has been ink visible within the plastic envelope this time it looked as though all was dry but once the bottom cover was taken off the ink flooded out all over my fingers. At this point I had not even removed the plastic tape which should allow the ink to flow. This was ink that had gone into the plastic cover from the pads underneath the cartridge. I like having the cartridges full to the limit but maybe they are trying a little too hard and overfilling the cartridge which is then making it overflow through the bottom pads. Once I got my hands scrubbed and finished cleaning the excess from around the cartridge it worked perfectly, as did all of the other colours used and I am extremely happy with the ink. At this price I am more than happy to put up with a little bit of cleaning up.

Excellent value for money, and a no-brainer for home-printing. Very high quality indeed.
These came nicely packaged and individually shrink-wrapped in a useful box.I didn't expect the quality of these cartridges to be quite as good as they were. I was also a bit apprehensive about using them in my Epson XP-700 printer - I thought there might be compatibility issues when I used the new inks for the first time. But the printer accepted them without a hitch, and didn't even flag up a warning message about non-standard cartridges. It continued printing without pausing for breath, and there was no discernible difference in either the colour, density or coverage of each of the inks. I was genuinely impressed. Even full colour printing on decent photographic paper came out really well. I know that if I'm printing a colour image that is really important then I'll use a specialist printing lab, so I only use my home printer for general use and the occasional glossy A4 print, and for that it's absolutely fine. I think most people do the same. If you want really top notch quality than you certainly won't use a mid-range home-printer equipped with bargain inks, so bear that in mind. But for run-of-the-mill colour production at home, it would be very hard indeed to find anything that comes even remotely close to the quality of these inks. I will not be using Epson inks again. I'm a total convert to these instead. A brilliant buy, and a steal at these prices.

THESE WORK & LAST XXX LONGER *****
If you have an Epson XP-700 and like myself have got frustrated at how it DRINKS Epson branded inks then this is what you need!!I bought this 15 pack of inks and am still working through them months later. When I was using Epson inks I seemed to go through an XL cartridge in a matter of a couple weeks (not even heavy printing)As for compatibility - it is absolutely fine, ignore all the sceptics and warnings. When you install these carts into the printer the screen will tell you that it is not a branded Epson cart and do you still want to go ahead? You say yes. It will tell you that it recommends Epson brand for higher quality. IGNORE.Once you click ok and move through the setup process you will not hear anything about how these carts are unbranded again. The print quality as perfect and I do not notice any difference. Also most importantly unlike HP or Kodak where if you use a compatible cart it breaks the printer - EPSON is very happy to use unbranded compatible carts and it has had no negative impact on my printer at all. All it has done is made me very happy that the ink carts last much much much longer and cost a fraction of the price.

Great cartridges especially for the price.
Very good inks however with the replacement of the second magenta there was a weird pop up from the printer telling me that the ink I use is not original and in addition to that some print problems occur every now and then.First I replaced all of the original cartridges at once and I printed quite a lot of photos and prints. I was super happy (5 star happy) Then the magenta run low and when I replaced it I got the pop up message (not sure why all of a sudden). Now, sometimes when I print photos - out of the blue I get those thin magenta lines across the photo and I am pretty sure it's the ink (or chip) of just this one particular cartridge since all was fine before. I generally love them and recommend buying them. At this price they are definatelly worth the money. Prints look lovely!

Just as good as Epson originals with no loss of quality
This is our second pack of the Colour Direct XL cartridges and that should be enough to tell you we rate them. After years of buying Epson cartridges we opted for a third-party brand and haven’t been disappointed. I can see no, at least not perceptible, change in print quality and our Epson XP printer has continued to perform just as it did with the manufacturer cartridges in it.They come well packaged, are easy to identify and install, and they’re going to save you a lot of money in the long term.If I was thinking in the long term, they may not quite have the life that the original cartridges give, but the difference isn’t sufficient to warrant the huge price hike to the Epson cartridges. If you want to have the same print quality but save money, buy them. It’s as simple as that.

however after using the printer option of cleaning the print heads and doing a print test they ink came through fine and continu
I was a bit sceptical as to whether to get these or not but with the cost of normal brand ink cartridges I thought i'd give them try.I had read previous reviews and a couple of things that I would mention:On the first few prints the the colour did not come through and I thought they weren't going to work, however after using the printer option of cleaning the print heads and doing a print test they ink came through fine and continues to be work.Someone else also noted that with the savings you make, if they do fail than over the course of a year you would have saved more than enough money to buy another printer anyway. I will keep check over the year and update my review.
