Not easy to seal
Like the 8" bags, these larger bags have a double closure at the opening and they are difficult to seal. The vacuum port plug should be attached as they are too small and easily misplaced. The vacuum port do not have a one way valve and air will return to the bag if one is not quick and dexterous to plug the port. Not all of the bags remained sealed.

Nice reusable bag for sous vide. The raised tube port makes it easier to adapt my own vacuum equipment. The port also has an easily remove/replace ball check valve unit that is cleanable. The check ball unit is small. So be careful it doesn't get dropped down the drain !

Buyer Beware
I ORDERED THE HANDHELD FOOD VACUUM SYSTEM. WHAT I GOT BESIDES A USELESS PRODUCT WAS A MONTLY CHARGE OF $9.95 REOCCURRING FOR BAG REPLACEMENT. I DID NOT REALIZE I WAS BEING CHARGED $9.95 MONTHLY FEE FOR BAG REPLACEMENT. WHEN I CALLED THE KITCHEN ADVANCE (APPEARED AS RMC SEAL BAGS) 888-528-8486 NUMBER ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT, THE COMPANY WOULD NOT REFUND THE CHARGES WHICH TOTALED OVER $89.55 SINCE MAY 2013.
