This helmet is well-made with a detachable visor and removable foam pads for easy cleaning. It also features a lock opening for securing your helmet to your bike. I used it in winter, so ventilation wasn't a concern for me. While this helmet is nearly perfect, a few minor tweaks could take it to the next level. The front light could be brighter, and the Bluetooth speakers could be more powerful. I also wish the automatic light feature had a manual override. That said, this helmet stands out for its quality, protection, and thoughtful design. I'd definitely recommend this ILM Smart Adult Bike Helmet.

I love the fit & feel of this helmet. I really love the visor & no having to wear sunglasses with the visor down. I will say that the helmet could use more air vents, as it get pretty hot in warmer temps here in Southern Kentucky. I also had a minor issue with some of the padded strips inside the helmet wanting to come unglued & roll up on me, causing the hard plastic to come in contact with my bare head, but I fixed that with some superglue & now we're good. I have had the chance to do a night ride yet, so I haven't gotten to test the lights in that situation yet, but every time I power it up at home, they come on very bright & flashing & I've only put one charge to it. The other negative I can list is that the the charge port rubber protective cover doesn't seat well into the charge port, so I'm not sure if it'll provide much protection in a rainy situation. Any way.....I'll still give it 5 stars for now, just because of its functionality, good looks, visor & sturdy feel.

I bought this for my daughter to use with her new ebike. She loves it!! The Bluetooth feature is indispensable. She can hear everything around her but can also hear her GPS right in her helmet. I also love the safety aspects of the light on the back and lightweight face shield. It looks absolutely amazing on her and fits like a glove. My only complaint is with the face shield not wanting to stay in the up position after she had used it for a few days. That's not a huge deal for her because she uses it down anyway. This is an extremely high quality product that performed way beyond my expectations, even with the sun visor issue. I would totally recommend this to anyone who needs a good lightweight helmet with lots of tech.

Great helmet, comfortable and tough. Great lighting and the automatic braking light and turn signals work great and Bluetooth ability is a plus as well… All in all a good helmet… I wouldn’t use it though if you’re traveling faster than 28mph. I believe that’s what it’s rated for,,, Safety first…

The fit is adjustable as long as you order the size within your measurement range. I like the fact that the speakers cover the ears to keep them warm in cold riding. They sound fine, but are not high fidelity speakers I like the fact that I could answer my phone while riding by merely pushing a button and talking. This helmet is more substantial than your standard bicycle helmet. It is of course rated for E bikes up to 28 miles an hou. Ther strap is adjustable and comfortable. The flip up visor is a very nice convenience in colder weather. I don’t yet know if this helmet would be too warm to wear in the hot weather. It looks like it’s well ventilated so I will have to wait till summer to find that out. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lights won’t come on unless it gets dark, but I didn’t buy it for the lights. I may be wrong about their functionality, but that’s what the instructions say. Ride safe.

the good: -it's light -for the price in the category of smart helmet, it's good value -it has a visor -it has an adjustable rear strap for height the bad: -i bought the red color, this color is not advertised as not having the 15 degree tilt head signaling -the remote has no audible feedback, you'll never know if you're signaling or not, pretty much defeats the purpose the ugly: -why is there a blue light? why? road laws do not permit the use of flashing blue and red lights for good reason, and most important police get really pissed off with blue lights. and one that looks like a flashing blue & red light (see video). good luck to you if you use this mode on the streets. when you have the solid red light, the left side now appears purplish because it is blending with the 'always on' blue light. again, the blue light has no functional purpose other than telling you it's on. you 'could' have used a different color like red or white. probably this wasn't your design, this looks to be an OEM design which the actual manufacturer offered as possible design choices. I contacted the manufacturer regarding the blue/red light and this was their response: "The helmet front light is light, and the blue light at the tail is steady, indicating that the light sense of the front light is working normally. It does not affect normal use, and does not violate any laws and regulations, it is recommended to read the helmet use instructions in combination with the manual." IMO: you're making a very black/white statement there for all jurisdictions. will you be paying any tickets/penalties if I get one? i don't think so.

Upgraded to a better helmet from my regular helmet due to a friend who had a regular helmet and was in an accident. His helmet was in pieces, and he wound up in the hospital. Seeing the aftermath of his helmet, I knew my wife and I needed better helmuts for our e-bikes. Did our research and picked this one. Great helmut, very comfortable, and love the visor. Well vented as well, for we live in South Florida.

I generally hate to give negative reviews, but maybe this will help fix this issue. I purchased this helmet because I thought it had a high safety rating. It also appeared to have better head coverage than other helmets. But...... The adjuster that adjusts the head diameter for this helmet is very flimsy. I noticed as I tightened it, it started to slip. After more experimentation, I found that no matter where I set the tension, any pressure would cause the adjustment to slip open and make the helmet extremely loose on the head. This could be catastrophic in an actual crash and possibly cause the helmet to slide out of position or even off the head. In addition, this helmet when tightened properly had excess propensity to rotate back and forth compared to other helmets I have used. If this helmet stayed on your head, it may be very safe in a crash, but I think this helmet may not stay on your head if any pressure were applied to it. At best, it may stay on but not be positioned properly during a crash. I have no confidence in this helmet. Maybe the mechanism on the one I receive is just broken/defective but compared to other helmets the head adjustment band seems very flimsy to me.
