A good book to start the process...:-)
The book is very useful. We used it quite regularly for a 1-2 months (the time we completed the process for our 3.5 year old). Remember to endlessly iterate to the kid that this is what grownups do-the kids are really happy to hear "That is what big girls do"-they don't want to be perceived babies anymore. Also tell them there is nothing to be embarrassed about which is how older kids feel when they do number 2. If you have a girl get the girl book, if you have a boy-do get the boy book-Don't mix!

Good Toilet training book
It's an American book so says diapers but I change word to nappy when reading it. Reward "charts" are two posters. Stickers included and a guide for parents. The only book I could find that says toilet not potty. Good book.

Helped us
I changed a couple of words when reading this to my 3 year old daughter, eg diaper was changed to nappy & when it says "I'm a big girl" I said "clever" girl (just personal preference)However, this book did help my daughter to toilet train successfully (alongside 1 other book). She enjoyed filling up the star charts provided & the book was clear & simple for her

Really good book which comes with a couple of sticker charts
Really good book which comes with a couple of sticker charts, it's the only one I found with no potties as my toddler went straight onto the toilet. A few American words like diaper but when reading just use English equivalents.

postesr and book with illustrations and story are just fine, and my granddaughter will probably like it well ...
This was training "kit" was rather a letdown. I thought there would be a book with more hands on advice and such from the Dr, but the pamphlet was rather vague, highly generalized and just so, a pamphlet. I've googled and found the same type of info online for free. The stickers, postesr and book with illustrations and story are just fine, and my granddaughter will probably like it well enough, as she enjoys books.

Fantastic book my 3 year really enjoyed the book
Fantastic book my 3 year really enjoyed the book. He enjoyed the story and loved the fact the little boy had dinosaur pants just like him!! I found the book really beneficial my little boy managed to grasp it in a week. We constantly repeated the story and he enjoyed the various stages, however we added our very own at the end, and he was given a small treat this and his age may have aided the speedy turnaround from nappies to pants.

Getting to that time....
Trying to prepare my two-year old for toilet training. This book doesn't miss the point - she loves hearing the story of the big girl who goes to the toilet. Even though my daughter isn't ready (and will tell you so), she still loves the story. Good start to the process I think.

Good book
Really good book, has helped us get back on track with our toddlers regression, she loves the sticker chart, just wish there were more than one sheet of stickers.
