Speeds up process. I didn’t expect more or less.
This is very easy to use. It’s not a pump you want if you’re trying to get oil out of the Earth so pump the brakes on expectations when it comes to that there are other pumps for more mass filtering but this works perfect for what I needed and that’s for general solution filtration Repetitive action. I found it really easy to use and clean and the glass to work and fit nicely thick too

Cheap everything glass is defective
It seem cool and the glass is pretty nice and what not but unfortunately the glass leaks doesn't all come down the tube so it came defective causing extra leaks and stuff to come around the side which you will lose whatever you're trying to do

Great filter. Pump died my first week using it.
These are versatile filter systems. By placing filter paper between the frit and the funnel and clamping it together you can prevent the frit from clogging. I wish they made these with a wider frit as they are easy to clean. The pump on the other hand did die within a couple days using it but I had a solution clog to slow drip and let it run overnight to finish it.This is compatible with other filtration systems that have the same 40/38 flask and frit neck. Unfortunately I can't find replacement flasks for sale nor adapters. The vacuum hose attachment is superior on this model to others such as the QWORK one.

Bad Pump
Pump lasted through a couple passes, but seemed slow. Cleaned everything up, put it away and pulled it out to use again, and the pump runs but no suction. I think the pump ended up having a piece of the Styrofoam from the packaging in the end and now it is plugged. No way to tell because I cannot take it apart to look. Ordered a replacement to see if the new one works.UPDATE:Got the replacement, used it one time and it worked, packed it away making sure to put pump back in bag. Took it out last night and same thing pump runs but no suction 🤷♂️ now out of replacement timeUpdate: they sent me out another pump and so far it is working but don’t expect fast filtration, especially if you are using say a medium flow filter paper

Seems pretty solid!
The glass arrived in perfect condition. It is nice hefty glass and I don't foresee any issues with it. The pump seems to be in good working condition. I'm glad I went with this one for making herbal extracts.

Can't figure out how to seal graduated cup to filter
From the pictures I figured there would be some way to seal the cup the filter part. But it's just glass on glass. I put the filter paper in place, thinking that was supposed to somehow seal the pieces together under the pressure from the clamp. As I poured my liquid in the cup, it started flowing right out the joint. Unless someone can explain how these are supposed to seal together, this is useless for filtering anything. I might try a silicone gasket. The only reason I didn't give this one star is because the flask is still usable as a flask, but it is designed to have the filter part fit over top, so not a standard 24/40 joint. I'm not sure if a 24/40 will fit inside, but it might. Otherwise I can use it as a boiling flask. Not a complete waste, but not what I'd hoped to get. Thankfully I bought a normal filter flask set up, so I can just swap between the two when I need to refilter.

Good deal for the price.
This seems to be a quality product with a few issues that keep it from being a "must buy." The vacuum pump is serviceable but weak, and the tubing and connectors are low quality and should be replaced. That being said, the glass is quality borosilicate 3.3 and fits perfectly. I'm impressed, overall, and really can't complain for the price of $68.I'm using this as a hobbyist. So far I've run about two liters through it and successfully filtered all particulate.
