Prince Response Pickleball Paddle

I was excited to try this paddle out, as I am currently looking for a new paddle, and I come from the tennis world where Prince was once a powerhouse. Paddle felt very good during play; it gave power when needed, and provided great touch as well.However (and the reason for my 3 star), after playing with this paddle for 2 weeks, I went to hit an overhead and during the follow through, I noticed the paddle suddenly felt very flexible. I looked at the paddle and noticed it was starting to fall apart at the handle. I had played with this paddle at most, maybe 5 times (let's say 15 hrs court time tops). The paddle was still in pristine shape, so it wasn't paddle abuse or anything. Pickleball Central, and Amazon, replaced the paddle at no cost, and I just received it, so I will be trying this paddle one more time. If it works better, I will happily update my review. I'll be honest though, straight out of the plastic, this paddle feels flimsy too, so I have a feeling this one will also break in short order.I would recommend this paddle to anyone who doesn't play with serious power/paddle speed. It really does feel excellent in all aspects of the game, but the lack of durability would be an issue for me. As a former D1 tennis player, I generate a lot of torque, so it could be that this paddle was not intended for someone like me.

This paddle has a great feel and a big sweet spot! I love the paddle and would recommend it.

Both sides of paddle face has huge bubbles and seems to be coming unglued! Besides that, the paddle had a small sweet spot. Only had it for a few weeks.... very disappointed as a tennis player I had big hopes for the Prince brand coming into pickle ball. I wish I could return it or exchange it for another one? Good handle and grip though, it’s just seems very cheaply made, but maybe I just got a lemon?

Changing from tennis to pickleball was difficult due to hitting the ball off the edge of the paddle. This mostly happened when returning a serve. The "Prince" racquet is exceptional! The size of the paddle gives me a feeling of being a tennis player on the pickleball court. I have a strong two handed backhand and the 5 1/2" handle allows me to to perform my stongest hit. I am serious about this review. I was so frustrated with pickleball that I wanted to quit. After getting the "Prince" paddle my opponents are blown away in how much my game has improved. Now I am working to find places for more pickleball games. I love the "Prince" paddle's face shape and long handle. Thanks "Prince" for making a racquet that helps me keep on playing pickleball.

The Prince racquet broke at the top of the handle after owning it only 64 days, Tried contact racquet galaxy (the amazon seller) to see if they have a warranty or replacement policy but their phone is not in service and the emails bounced back as non deliverable.

We love pickleball and wanted a good brand and were willing to pay more money for good paddles. Unfortunately, even with good care and storage these paddles don’t hold up well. Note the bubbling of the surface — makes it impossible to properly hit a ball and it looks unsightly. There has been no water exposure and our paddles are stored properly after each play. Very disappointed.

Paddle arrived with bubbles on the surface and looked terrible that didn't line up properly. The handle broke in half after one day of play...
