I am an older individual who has been lifting weights consistently going on five years. I had been struggling to choke down a powder version of this product for quite some time. I would take it in the morning before exercise (if I could get myself to take it at all), but I was always frustrated with it. My issues were that the powdered version would not mix easily in water and when I did finally managed to mix it with the water, it tasted bitter. As a result, I needed to know if it was even worthwhile to take, as I didn't want to take it anymore. Hence, I did further research to see if it was really worth it to take HMB. After discovering that it does indeed make sense to take HMB (study after study revealed this), especially for older individuals, I decided to look into taking something else. Maybe capsules. I looked through Amazon and saw this product which allows you to get the recommended 3 grams through 4 capsules (two in the morning; two in the evening). This method seemed tolerable and based on the studies it seemed like the results would be worth it. I have been taking this product for about a week. The capsules are a little on the large size but I have absolutely no issues with taking them. I changed nothing else in my routine. This product is a game-changer. I immediately noticed a difference. It was like a light switch. I am not exaggerating. I almost never leave reviews but for this product I felt I had to. Not only did I immediately notice improvements in my strength and endurance, but I also saw great improvements in my cardio abilities and overall energy levels when doing cardio. I could go to the gym for a full session with weights, do a full high speed cardio session, do a little quick shopping at the grocery store, and then come home and shovel the snow (with energy!). Even though I had been lifting for five years, I never really felt like I was making a lot of progress, and I struggled with cardio. I had been taking creatine for years alongside the powder version but it wasn't until I started taking this HMB that I noticed a real difference. Overall, I just feel like I am in better shape. Again, it was like a light switch. There is no doubt that my strength capabilities in the gym also went up. This is not my imagination. I know what I felt like before and I know what I feel now. I just feel stronger and more capable. I highly highly recommend this product. Again, I take two capsules in the morning and two in the evening. It is effortless. The product is not too expensive and the results are impressive. Again, I can't recommend it enough!

As with most supplements, they are taken while trusting in the claims of their performance. HMB as studies supporting its ability to maintain muscle mass. These studies were done in the elderly and now that I'm 50, I'm giving it a try to maintain my activity level. Hard to tell that there has been improvements in my muscle strength but I sure haven't lost any. Deal supplements has been my go to brand for quality supplements at a good price. Plus, they offer some great deals.

I have nerve damage on my left side from a broken neck in a car wreck in 1993 and walk with a crutch. I could not do stairs unless I took them one at a time with my right leg only. After about 2 months of taking this every day (with 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 this is essential) I glided up a staircase over a little bridge and back down the other side without even thinking about it. I was shocked! Then a couple months later I went to the St. Augustine FL Lighthouse and walked all the way to the top without resting or taking them one step at a time with my right leg. I cried when I got to the top. I highly recommend this supplement.

It's very hard to tell with supplements I myself did not notice any difference either taking it or not taking it.

the main ingredient in alpha brain, a great way to get the effects without the label cost, helps with memory and clarity, would recommend to anyone! only take it every other day though, to help with no being psychologically addicted to it
