I was skeptical about reading this book because of the cheating element. If you have the same reservations, don’t. It is so much more than your average romance. I will not write spoilers in my review but I will tell you how this book made me feel.Believe you me, you will feel every emotion known to man and I soaked them all up. Every tear I shed ultimately brought me closer to this one and truly unique, infinite and once in a lifetime love. Even if that love pulverizes those you love most along the way.A love that involves 3 beautiful souls. There is something profoundly special about the swoony, yummilicious 45 year old Drake who I am staking my claim on right now. Good grief he is DELICIOUS. He says and does all the right things. My heart fluttered more than a few times. The funny, sassy and downright lovable 24 year old Sia who’s heart is the size of Texas who should never run in an airport in Jimmy Choo shoes. That’s where this love story begins. Then we have 25 year old Rayden, Drake’s son. He’s tall, dark and decadent and I wanted a taste of that man. Each one of these people attached themselves to my heart and made me fall so head over heels in love with each of them. Drake is pure sin. Sia is pure love and Rayden is pure perfection.There's something very hypnotizing about them and how they burned me alive with the potency of their insatiable need for something sweet, whether it be in a bowl of Frosted Flakes or the euphoria they experience in the sweet taste of knowing how it feels to indulge in their greatest desires… each other.But with every lust filled kiss, every exhilarating touch and every intoxicating breath they take also comes the harsh reality of the world of hurt those actions will cause if secrets are exposed. The heartbreak nearly broke me. As I said to someone recently, I am very impressed with the author and the way she told a story with such detail, such heart that you feel like you’re a part of the story and I love that. This story was brilliantly written and exposes our greatest fear- to live life without that all encompassing love. This story will reach inside every cell in your body and take up permanent residence.Everyone should read this book and take the lust filled, love filled and painful journey alongside Drake, Sianna and Rayden as they discover secrets, lies, passion and love. What happens when attraction becomes a temptation and that temptation becomes obsession, the forbidden fruit? Would you take a bite?Some of my FAVORITE THINGS about this story:⚡️ I loved how the author weaved comedy with heartbreak. The funniest line in the book in my opinion came from Sianna’s gay cousin Ruvash. He is my favorite supporting character and I couldn’t get enough of him and his witty banter with Sianna. I laughed so hard after reading it.“If you don’t water that sacred flower between your legs soon, you’re going to have nothing but potpourri for the next man that dips his nose down there.”⚡️ Then there is a lust filled horseback ride. That’s all I’m saying.⚡️ There is so much love in this book. Love of family and love of each other and the need for unconditional love is the heart of the story.⚡️ I loved the main character's inner dialogue. Whether it is sad, funny or angry. It was masterfully done.I will end this review by stating it was very bittersweet having had to say goodbye to Sia, Rayden and Drake. I fell in love with each of them. There’s just so many memorable moments throughout this book that will have you laughing, crying, excited, turned on, pissed off, irritated, scared, sad and thoughtful. All the emotions you could think of.The beautiful, tear inducing ending of this book was the pièce de ré·sis·tance, the ending of all endings I’ll tell you that! I bawled my eyes out. INTOXICATION will have you begging for more as soon as you read the last few words in the book.So, go ahead, take a chance on an incredible love story and grab INTOXICATION right now, gift it to a friend who loves angsty romances but make sure you have plenty of tissues. You’ll need them right up until the very climactic ending. You’ll find yourself rooting for everyone. At least I did. Well, okay, except for a particular evil doer I wanted to throat punch on more than one occasion.

Like I said…wow…This was my first read & listen by this author, and I can honestly say I’m ready for book 2 in this series.The astounding immediate chemistry between Drake/Prince & Sianna/Sia was something to behold. The way they fit, complimented each other, & just completely melded together was beautiful to see. But that morning after, it was a punch in the gut for us all.Sianna & Rayden’s relationship was riddled with a sexual tension of epic proportions. When they were able to look past the “don’t fool around with the help” mentality, their relationship blossomed into something that many look a lifetime for.When Rayden takes Sianna home for Christmas, it’s a shock to so many systems. I loved the way that Drake was so destined to make sure Rayden was happy, but the fact that he couldn’t forget Sia just reflected on the intense connection they possessed. Watching this rollercoaster was gut wrenching, heartbreaking, sweet, heartwarming, and sexy all in one.But who will make Sianna the happiest? How can a woman love two different men & in a completely different way?But that last bit at the end…GIMME MORE!!Audiobook Review:This was my first listen from Yami Habibi & I’m pretty sure my first listen from Connor Hayes. And I can safely say that I’m pleasantly surprised in their talent. These two along with Aiden Snow, brought life to the characters that had me completely immersed in the world. The talent from all three of them meshed together made for a very pleasing listen.

So I wasn’t really sold on the female narrator, I just didn’t really connect with her voice, I actually just skipped listening to some of her chapters and just read them on the page. But I do love Aiden Snow, he has that deep rasp I would expect from a 40 something billionaire CEO. He was the perfect Drake! Connor Hayes was also the perfect Rayden, he captured his boyish charm so perfectly!This story started off wild and ended even wilder... that freaking twist at the end... sheesh. I had a feeling maybe something was up that whole ending, just something I couldn't shake. Now I can't wait for the next book, I need to read Rayden's story.I really liked Drake, he and Sianna had great chemistry together, it felt right when they were together, even though they were only together for a brief moment, it was everything. But once she found out his secret it was pretty much over then. Eighteen months later… we open on her “nannying” and we meet Rayden. I seriously hate that we missed the 4-month long relationship her and Rayden had off page. I wasn’t really sold on them to begin with and now he’s asking her to freaking marry him? That’s so soon and just totally out of the blue. I don’t know who they are as a couple, so this feels very out of left field for me. Also, their relationship feels very immature to me as well, just reading this whole proposal scene, it feels childish. Sianna and Drake had so much more chemistry and passion in just their 3 meetings than she does with Rayden altogether. It just seems like it’s all sex with them and nothing else.I do honestly feel bad for Rayden during these last 25% of the book, because he never had that kind of chemistry with Sianna, and I think he just really isn't over his ex-girlfriend. But those last moments before everything hit the fan, were freaking hawwwt as hell. oh man, there is just something about Drake and Sianna.I can't wait to dive into the next book, I do hope that Rayden gets a happier ended than he did in this one. lolI received an ALC from BlueNoseAudioPR. It felt so right but Sianna knew it couldn’t last so she slipped away without a word.When they meet again, almost two years later, Sianna is dating Drake’s son Rayden.Soon they are involved in a love triangle none of them could have predicted.This book is very well written and emotional.

Omg, what a beautiful story!! Love works in mysterious ways. I could not put this book down. Exceptionally well written!! I can see that Rayden now needs to have his own story with Zena 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥

I just finished this book and by the way discovered Charlene's books. I don't want to spoil the story, just let you know that it's very well written and the emotions are strong. Sianna is a lovely soul, she's courageous, determined and responsive. The predicament she encountered is not easy, and the path that follows encounters difficult situations and sorrow. But love always wins, so it's worth it.You will fall in love with Drake, I'm still swooning...

The love thatbis portrayed in this book is so genuine and real and all the characters leave you wantine more. This story is unbelievable, its so much more than a story about cheating or daddy/son kink. The sensitivity for which this is written is just beautiful. You fall in love with both Drake and Rayden and you can see why Sianna does too. Dont let your thoughts on cheating books stop you from reading this genuinely beautiful love story, youll be missing out if you do.

That is exactly the word for this little gem! God what a ride! The entire story I read in one sitting and cried at the end…The twists and turns will keep you glued and the hot pant melting sex will just be a bonus! Drake is a woman’s dream and he falls into bed with Sianna one night and then she is gone until 2 years later when she shows up at Drake’s house as his son’s girlfriend. Drake’s ex-wife adds the bitchiness as she hides her own secrets… in the end, you see a dedicated father who is given a chance at love by his son! It was awesome
