Anne of Green Gables (Volume 3) (Knickerbocker Children's Classics, 3)

This is a great book! The quality is great! There are some words, like sorrel, that were new to us, but we were able to learn a few things. The story itself is a must read for any girl or woman looking for a good wholesome story.

Such a cute book cover and a great classic to read. Does have some big words for younger kids, but has short chapters for easy comprehension.

I fell in love with "Anne of Green Gables" after I retired. While I had read hundreds and hundreds of books as a child from age 6 on, this was one I'd never read. After I read this one I discovered that there were more in the series and read every single one of them. Once I took a few of them with me on an extended trip to Venice. I would go exploring all the nooks and crannies of Venice during the day, dine well in the late evening and then retire to my lovely room and read the series books where Anne is an adult. They refreshed me for the next exotic day. I treasure all of the "Anne" books. And, they eventually sent me on a trip to Prince Edward Island which has been one of the highlights of my life.

My 11 year old daughter enjoyed reading this aloud to our family every morning, and we enjoyed listening. A great classic, well made.

Anne of Green Gables is such a classic, and I had the pleasure of gifting this book to one of my mentorees. There was a gasp of awe when she opened the present and her family saw how beautiful it was. Quality is great, especially for such a price. You want to give a classic book in a quality condition that will last for years - this is your book.

I used the book as a gift for my great granddaughter.
